The property was close to a shopping mall and restaurants but no traffic noise, parts of the hotel needs modernisation, not much interaction with the staff, I did try but maybe language was a barrier

The apartment is nice and spacious, but very dated and needing repairs, it was however cleaned every day. The staff were all lovely. The apartments are down a hill, so be prepared for a hike up to the shops etc. They are next to a very good shopping mall with supermarket and food court. Not very much else round about. The apartments are situated 15mins on the road train to the new town and about 30mins to the old town which would only be about 15mins if you walked. I would not stay at these apartments again due to the location. I prefer to be near the beach. .

Booked and paid for all inclusive on September 18th arrived the 23rd to be told all inclusive ended in September 16th so we now were booked on a room only basis. Hotel blamed Expedia, Expedia blamed the hotel no offer of a refund or any help with the situation apart from an email sent to the hotel who didn’t respond

Horrible 3-night stay, our reservation was made with breakfast, finally when we arrived at the hotel, we had to sort it out ourselves, the breakfasts were ultimately not included, whose fault is it??? Called Expedia services who said they would contact us within 72 hours, no call back and our stay is over. Finally, the nauseating smell coming from behind the pipes in the kitchen area increased tenfold the last night to the point of waking us up, despite the bay window remaining open, certainly due to the general water cut in the middle of the night, we left the hotel at 8am in the morning without showering to end our stay in Portugal. We reported our unpleasant stay to the young hostess without holding it against her, but observed the management who attended the discussion without even coming to apologize or ask for explanations

After having our breakfast that on Expedia was added for £0 when booking we were handed a €25 bill. When challenging this with the breakfast staff they continually refused to let us speak to reception and they claimed not to understand English or acknowledge the shown booking from Expedia and the card machine was continually shoved under our noses aggressively. Then when attending reception and showing the receptionist and manager how Expedia says breakfast was added for £0 and a short (genuinely polite) chat we were threatened with police and the manager was shouting at me and making derogatory comments about how I am poor. None of which I rose to. Eventually I was told I would have to contact Expedia and ask for the refund of €25 but would have to pay the €25 to the hotel. They said that yes it was a mistake by Expedia but they refused responsibility as it’s not their website and their records show no breakfast included. I refused to pay €25 as the breakfast was very below standard (the cafe up the street does breakfast from €2). Begrudgingly the manager then agreed I could pay half the amount. It was incredibly unprofessional and if a manager acted like this to me after a 2 minute conversation where I was nothing but pleasant and simply trying to make my case then I would hate to see him in a real disagreement with a customer. He had to walk off in anger twice during the conversation. The whole ordeal reaked of a scam. The police never turned up, strangely enough?

För det första när vi bokade stod det att hotellet hade all in clusive vilket dom inte hade. När vi kom dit fanns det inget gym vilket det stod att det skulle göra. Stod att det fanns bastu den såg vi inte heller. Stod att det fanns massor av saker vilket inte fanns. Det var en ren missvisning av hotellet. Det var så smutsigt överallt, Gamla tradiga möbler. Trasiga solstolar. Det stod att det var rökning förbjuden men det låg fimpar överallt i korridorerna. Så smutsigt och ovårdat över allt. Står att det är 4 stjärnor men skulle knappt ge den 1 rekommenderar inte detta hotell till någon.

Paguei como Tudo Incluído e só tive alojamento, o hotel nem sequer servia o pequeno almoço. No primeiro dia que cheguei o quarto estava sujo, as fronhas das almofadas estavam sujas, as colchas das camas com manchas, a casa de banho ainda cheia de cabelos no chão, a banheira toda suja. Chamamos a atenção na recepção, vieram logo limpar o quarto. De madrugada quando íamos a casa de banho, víamos várias baratas. Hotel só com jovens ingleses que faziam barulho a noite toda. Hotel para famílias não tem nada. Sempre que vou para o Algarve venho para este hotel, mas vou deixar de ir, já não tem condições para ser um hotel para famílias, com crianças. O hotel sempre sujo, mesmo nos corredores dos quartos. Luna Miramar Club, nunca mais.

Hotel muito degradado

Estive apenas alojado uma noite. A recepção foi remodelada mas todo o restante encontra-se muito degradado O restaurante estava encerrado. Sofrivel para passar uma noite mas não mais que isso. Quero contudo salientar a simpatia dos funcionários da recepção. Desaconselho reservar este hotel

Stedet var i utrolig ringe forfatning. Værelserne var meget nedslidte. Det lykkedes os at få et lidt bedre værelse efter første overnatning. Vores fødder var helt sorte efter at have gået på gulvet. Der var hår På gulvet. Der manglede helt basale køkkenting så som skærebræt, el kedel med videre. Køkkenskabene kunne ikke lukkes ordentligt og fryseren var fuldstændig iset til. Virkelig ringe hotel til prisen.

J'ai réservé un sejours chez luna marimar club pour 4.nuits avec petit-déjeuner inclus. Le matin quand je me suis rendu à la cafétéria pour manger ils m'ont dit que je ne suis pas sur la liste pour le petit déjeunern ensuite je me suis rendu à la reception pour reclamer ce malentendu, ils m'ont répondu que c'était un problème informatique et que je ne peux pas manger le petit-déjeuner et que ça arrive souvent ce genre de probleme. J'ai montré une preuve avec photo que le petit déjeuner était inclus et malgré ça elle a refusé de m'accorder mon droit de manger le petit-déjeuner. Elle m'a assuré qu'elle va contacter son chef et trouver une solution...mais avec les jours rien n'était fait. Du coup j'ai dû aller loin de l'hôtel pour aller manger dehors et perde mon temps pour les vacances. Le lendemain je lui redemandé si elle a trouvé une solution mais toujours rien et elle m'a demandé d'appeler moi-même eboocker.ch sur mes frais...du coup avant le dernier jours de mon séjours je lui ai demandé de me faire une attestation comme quoi que je n'ai pas pu manger le petit déjeuner. Je trouve vraiment dommage de la part d'un hôtel club 4 étoiles... A part ça le wifi est une catastrophe en plus ils ont bridé facebook et Instagram,impossible de charger des photos et regarder les actualités. Pour le parking c'était ok mais je penses c'est à cause du corona virus et le manque de clients. Mais si vous venez en haute saison méfiez vous du nombre limité des place.. Alors ce n'est pas le top.

liked the location, the main areas of the property, the apartment, staff were ok, cleaning staff fab. Gym was not easy to get to and needs to open much earlier, currently opens at 10.30am. Bathroom needs some maintence..

bien placé ,basique, cantine trés sonore .

hotel assez bien : piscine ,proche centre, pas trop grand,pres d'un centre commercial,grande chambre,cuisine correcte.chambres côté rue :bruit le matin livraisons camions .cocktails" all inclusive" faits maison : c'est rare ,super!! Mais restaurant hyper bruyant ,fatigant tellement cela résonne (cris des enfants ...)

hôtel accueillant

Personnel : chaleureux et serviable. Restauration : buffet assez varié et de bonne qualité. Nous regrettons l'absence de plats régionaux. Snack un peu décevant (peu de choix). Bar en all-inclusive très agréable. Chambre : remplacement 3x /semaine. Propreté satisfaisante. Animation : qualité variable selon les jours. Localisation : un centre commercial juste à côté. Assez éloigné de la plage (10 minutes à pied). Le mieux est de louer une voiture (il y a un parking gratuit autour de l'hôtel). Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
