Sara was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble for her. Ideally located to see all parts of the beautiful Algarve cost and we had lots of fun at the annual Guia Frango Festival. The villa is emaculate and very comfortable.Our host, Sara, was incredibly hospitable. She drove over 15mins to lead us back to the villa when our sat nav led us astray on our way from the airport. She was promptly responsive to a couple of very minor issues we had at the villa and she had the very swiftly addressed. Sara even recommended us to Ramires restaurant which makes the most delicious chicken the area.We absolutely recommend this villa, which is perfectly situated for holiday makers. This is the second time we have stayed at Casa da Quinta and had another brilliant time here! Sara was extremely helpful and always available as and when we needed (which wasn’t very often!). The villa itself is well equipped, comfortable and homely as well as being well located for supermarkets, beach and places to visit. The pool was heated which was a bonus particularly as the weather want’s spectacular when we visited. Maid service is twice a week, and is excellent, with clean towels, and bed linen & beach towels too. I cannot fault this villa & would return in a heartbeat if work & jobs did not get in the way. The villa is in a lovely peaceful location but within walking distance to Guia with plenty of restaurants and a short drive to supermarkets and the beach. We have just returned from a week at Manuel’s villa and had such an amazing stay. The villa itself is really comfortable, well equipped, clean and well located and the heated pool was such a great addition to the holiday too! Manuel and family couldn’t do enough for us - our flight was delayed until the early hours of the morning yet Manuel was there to greet us with a smile and a welcome pack of food and wine! The villa was clean and spacious with all bedrooms having their own en suite or bathroom. The kids enjoyed their time in the pool and as teenagers were particularly happy with the quality of the Wifi! The local area is nice and quiet with good restaurants, I'd recommend the steak on a stone so you can cook it exactly as required. We spent a couple of nights in Albefuira which is a bit more lively but the restaurants equally as good. Weather was lovely in early September, perfect as we spent most of our days at the villa and around the pool. We'll definitely be returning in the future to explore some of the local attractions when these Coronavirus times have passed. Sincere thanks to Manuel for looking after us. They became friends over our time there and they could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The villa was huge and very well furnished, clean and had everything we needed. The pool with heating was superb and our boys were in every day more than once even when temperatures were about 23 degrees. The location was good for local restaurants and we found a favourite restaurant which served traditional Portuguese food called cantinho do almareado. We also ate bbq from apolonia supermarket recommended by manuel. They had many different varieties of ready made fresh kebabs. We did not have to travel far to enjoy the aqua show park, Zoomarine, beaches, walks and more all which are highly recommended.
