Located in a private complex with a magnificent swimming pool, the apartment is situated on a hill with a privileged view over the city. Facing south and with a spacious balcony, it offers one of the most beautiful and impressive views of the old town of Albufeira and the popular Fishermen's Beach, with the stunning Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop. Albufeira is a typical and vibrant city, known for its narrow streets paved with Portuguese cobblestones, beautiful beaches, and welcoming atmosphere. You will find excellent restaurants, ice cream parlours, bars, and souvenir shops. In the lively central square, you can watch artists from all over the world or enjoy an outdoor meal while appreciating the spirit of the city. The location of the apartment is excellent: the street offers restaurants, cafés, newsstand, pharmacy, banks and a mini-market. About 10 minutes walking you will find the main shopping centre, with supermarket, food court and several shops. Both the beach and the historic centre are just five minutes away. The Albufeira Marina is about 20 minutes walking distance, offering various boat trips, from visits to the natural caves of the limestone cliffs to dolphin watching excursions. Good air con in living room and bedroom which is a must. I would recommend this property without hesitation to anybody who doesn't have mobility issues. My wife and i are reasonably fit so no problems for us but the access to the apartment and many others on this site is via large stairwells (approx 50 steps) which cannot be avoided when leaving the complex and the same when returning. I was not made aware of any lifts in the complex. This should be made very clear in the advert (if it doesn't already?). Apart from that i would recommend and the stairs would not put me off renting this apartment again. Overall we had a fantastic time!!! ##### Graham F. Séjour de 5 nuits en septembre 2018 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### mark b. 25 juin 2018 #### not really as described the description said that the property had air conditioning which it didn't also there wasn't any internet when we arrived and had to ask for it .it also said it had satellite tv but it was just a few Portuguese stations.Also not that we expected a welcome pack but there was nothing there at all just washing up liquid and a loo roll ! would of been nice to have something even the basics . beds were really uncomfortable and squeaky and the general feel of the place was a bit dated. I think the photos didn't show the actual view which was mainly over the town really we found it to be quite noisy and not the relaxing quiet retreat that we had hoped im afraid to say. ##### mark b.
