Highly recommended, spotless, cozy. Definitely be back for more nights to stay in the future my friends love it so much!
Thank you so much Gina for giving heads up before our date!
Gina was a wonderful communicator and help us with all our needs. The development pool and beach are just lovely. We had a family reunion of 29 - so much fun.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings, and the cozy, well-appointed home. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared — from the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen. The location strikes a perfect balance between feeling remote and being close enough to hiking trails, local shops, and scenic spots. Communication with the host was seamless, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This place truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already planning our return trip — highly recommended!
The host Gina was super cooperative. We enjoyed our vacation at Gina’s place. We also enjoyed the pool by the beach, located by the beach.
Gina also let us allowed late check-out.
We love this house ! It's perfect for our family this is our second year staying in this house. It is so spacious and clean . The host Gina is so accommodating and great to work with. Thank you again !!
We had a great time Thanksgiving weekend with family and cutting down our Christmas tree. The house was great - comfortable and clean. Great communication from our host. looking forward to staying here again.
Everything about our stay was perfect! The house was super clean! Gina was the perfect host! Quick communication is always a plus! It was a great place to stay while relaxing with friends. The lake was within walking distance and a short 20 minute ride to Jim Thorpe!
Our family of three enjoyed our stay here. The property was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated that our almost two year old could roam freely as the house was more kid/baby-proofed than most other rental homes we’ve stayed at. We enjoyed afternoons on the deck looking at the dear and peaceful neighborhood walks. The lake and playground were great and a short drive away.
My mom, daughter and I spent an amazing weekend at Gina's property. Check-in was so easy as well as communication with Gina before and during our stay. We have stayed at many vacation properties and this was definitely the cleanest one. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with anything we needed to cook meals and the highlight was seeing all of the deer come up each morning and evening. We look forward to staying again next year and highly recommend this property.
Beautiful, clean, and homey. My friends and I enjoyed time hanging out in the chalet and took advantage of the close proximity to Hickory Run. Would stay here again!
Would recommend packing some of your own kitchenware if you plan to cook extensively - what's provided is good quality but there aren't a lot of items.
Our original plan was to bring our bikes and take the train shuttle to the rail trail and bike back to JT
It was a damp, cold, rainy weekend, so we scrapped the bike plan and just poked around town and had dinner at Stone Row Pub. The house was perfect, quiet, well stocked, clean and comfortable
We just did an overnight to see a concert at Penn’s Peak. The neighborhood was quiet and 2 huge deer walked right by the window while we were sitting at the table. The house was well stocked, neat, comfortable and clean. The advertising however was misleading. I booked because it said 2+ bathrooms and in another section it said 2 full and 2 half bathrooms. I searched the whole house and couldn’t find a half bath! 😂. Nonetheless I would book again. Gina is a lovely host who communicates well and made the booking process simple.
