Vintners Retreat: Stylish Retreat near Sea & Vines

Vintners Retreat offers a peaceful escape with luxurious Queen size bed, a cosy sofa to enjoy the wood combustion fire or appreciate the cooling air con.

With its own separate entrance, the Retreat is a completely private studio space for you to enjoy.

Fully equipped kitchen with stove top, microwave and pod coffee machine, and BBQ in your own private courtyard, plus use of lounge poolside means you can eat al fresco watching the spectacular sunsets.

The Retreat has a large bathroom with walk in shower and ample storage.

Swim in our heated pool - from mid Sept to end of April - with amazing views.

Tea, fresh Cuban and pod coffee, and all the basic necessities you need are supplied. Breakfast is not supplied but Maxwell's Grocery & Cafe in Aldinga old village does great breakfasts and coffee. (206 Port Rd, Aldinga SA 5173).

Parking is available in the car port. Access to the Retreat is along the side of the main building, clearly signposted.

You can relax in the various chillout zones scattered around the property. You have sole use of the pool and gardens during your stay. (We do have a private garden area for Billy, The Westie).

We will be available as much as possible to meet you on arrival, however a key will be left out for you to let yourself in. After parking in the guest car port, clear signage will guide you to the Vintners Retreat. We will be available by 'phone or in person, if you wish, for the duration of your stay. You will be given a very warm welcome by the super-friendly Westie, Billy!

We are based on the edges of McLaren Vale vines and our local pub is the historic Victory Hotel. We are a short drive from Willunga township - check out the award winning Farmer's Market held in the Town Square every Saturday morning.

We are also close to fantastic restaurants - The Salopian Inn, The Star of Greece, The Currant Shed and Maxwells (winery & restaurant) being firm favourites!

Sellicks Beach is mere minutes away from us and Port Willunga beach a little further on - it's definitely worth a visit with soft sands, gentle waves and we always see a dolphin or two!

You'll need a car to get around the McLaren Vale region.
