There's a nice pub with great food nearby and king william road hyde park has top restaurants within a short walk. The renovations are in full swing so i was lucky to get a room. Cleanliness and layout were fine. As was the service. I am afraid the renovation mentioned in previous reviews is not great. The micro venetian blinds within the double glazed windows do not keep out the morning light very well. On the other hand the lighting in the bathroom for the only mirror was inadequate for make up and other toilette.
