The house was perfect for our needs and very well kept. There was space for everyone to enjoy time together and in small groups. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and we were able to have nice family meals with only brining up food and drinks.The lake was only a short walk away and had a nice view of the lake. We were there when it was cold and I can imagine it being a nice little secluded beach in the warmer weather.I would definitely recommend this home for a large group getaway. We had such a wonderful relaxing weekend here in Zephyr cove. The property was beautifully decorated and felt like staying in a true Tahoe lodge. The fireplaces were so nice and toasty during the winter storm we had. There was plenty of room for 4 couples with everyone having their own room. We cooked meals twice and everything we needed was easily available. The views were gorgeous, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day on the slopes. The neighborhood is very quiet and you can access trails by the lake. It is very spacious. Lots of windows and natural light. The beds were comfortable and linens and towels were good quality. It could use some updating. Also, some of the info on the checkin paperwork was incorrect or missing (WIFI name and password, instructions for garbage) and the property manager acted bothered when I called and asked about it. We've rented many houses while traveling across the US and this has to be hands down one of the best that we've been able to stay at. Extremely spacious and close to all the action. The beds, bedding and linens were very high quality and comfortable. There were games for the kids and the kitchen had much more than expected…..crock pot, ice cream maker, tons of dishes! We enjoyed the backyard, which was perfect for snow play for the kids during our stay. The floor plan worked perfectly for us and they even provided a baby gate for the stairs. We enjoyed eating outside on the deck amongst the trees and loved being able to walk to the private beach during our stay. With peaks of the lake off the front deck. Close enough for a peaceful morning walk down to the lake to enjoy your coffee. Very well equipped and comfortable for all.
