Ytrøygrend Vacation Packages

We arrived in the rain and the people at this hotel made us feel as though we were coming home. It was like a port in a storm:) the room was basic, but had a little kitchen with a fridge, and a super comfy bed. The bathroom was a space saver, so a little water did get on the bathroom floor, but it was no big deal. The curtains were dark enough to block the light, and even though our room was facing the road, it was very quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. There is coffee and tea available all the time. We would stay there again, especially because the young women and gentleman who took care of us were lovely and so welcoming. We recommend :)

This is by far the most unwelcoming hotel and staff, that we have ever encountered. The only real smile we got, was from the receptionist, as we were checking out. The room, although it was supposed to be an upgrade, was basic. The bathroom light, took forever to come on, and when we returned to the room after breakfast, the light had stopped working. The curtains were not wide enough and did not cover the whole window, so there was only a short respite, from the day light shining in. In 26 years of travelling, and staying in over 200 hotels, this was by far, the least friendliest, the worst value for money and everything, from the room, the food and drink were drastically overpriced.

Outstanding Breakfast, Decent room. Only concerns were that some areas of the hotel seem a bit run-down, for example the balcony had a ton of peeling paint and some algae growing. The hallway corridors seemed dusty, the room doors a bit beat up.
