The food is very good and the Mason's Yorkshire Gin and Tonic is a work of art. The Forrester's is located in a beautiful village close to the White Horse carved into the hillside. The rooms are decent enough for a place to rest your head for the night after you're done exploring the beautiful countryside. The staff is friendly, but at times, I felt they were unnecessarily stressed and frenzied. Just the vibe I got. I'm pretty tall, so I had to duck around the place. However, since it's an old historic building, that was expected. Overall, I'd stay here again. We may as well had gone camping. Mentioned on check out however staff already seemed aware and said heating was on a timer. The facilities are good and the staff friendly. It is ideally located to go hiking in the National Park.
