Just a short walk away from York Station. The Space: This elegant one-bedroom apartment boasts a prime location beside York’s ancient Roman city walls, which encircle the lively city centre. Blending contemporary design with high-quality finishes, it offers both style and comfort. York railway station is just a short, scenic stroll away, with charming archways beneath the walls along the way. Inside, an inviting open-plan layout seamlessly combines the kitchen, dining, and living areas perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. Relax on the cosy two-seater sofa, share a meal at the dining table for two, or enjoy a film on the TV. The modern kitchen features sleek cabinetry and integrated appliances, including a full-size fridge, freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, hob, and boiling tap. All the essentials including crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cookware are neatly provided. The double bedroom is a peaceful retreat, furnished with a comfortable king-size bed, bedside tables, fitted wardrobe, and blinds. Fresh linen, towels, and a hairdryer are supplied for your convenience. The stylish bathroom includes a shower over bath, floor-to-ceiling tiling, sink, WC, and a large mirrored cabinet with storage for toiletries. Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, iron, and ironing board. Please note: pets are not permitted, and there is no on-site parking. The nearest paid parking is available at Shambles Q-Park on Garden Place or Foss Bank Car Park, both just a few minutes’ walk away. Bedding is not supplied for the cot. Stairs within the property: There are several flights of stairs within this property. To get to the first floor, where the entrance door into the apartment is there are 14 stairs. Once within the apartment there are a further 14 stairs to bring you into the main part of the apartment - please note there are bannister rails. The Neighborhood: Situated just steps away from some of York’s finest restaurants, cafés, and bars, this location also offers easy access to the renowned York Racecourse and the city’s train station. Getting Around: If you are looking for a more relaxing way to see the city, there are plenty of hop on and off red bus tours, the nearest pickup point is by Clifford's tower. Taxis can be found everywhere in the city.
