Other than that the unit was great, the location was great and the price was great too. The house was also very clean. One of the down sides is that the bed in the master bedroom is very hard; both my partner and I woke up sore. As well, communication with the property management company was difficult as they often did not answer their phone. They also did not call me back every time they said they would (though they did call me back promptly the last time I left a message). Whenever I did manage to speak with them, they had to call the property's owner each time I had a question. This added to the communication challenges. Buckingham St is a short walk to the centre of York, and the city is a great place to wander the streets + enjoy specific places. The Minster is the highlight, but lots of other places to enjoy. Lots of eating places. This is a beautiful property. 10 -15 mins walk from most city centre attractions and from the train station, similarly close to Rowentree park, which is a lovely place for children to play. It is in a quiet residential area.
