We loved that there were plenty of bedrooms with queen beds and that there was plenty of seating at the dining room table so we could all eat together. The home was clean and comfortable and a very short distance from the 804 trail that leads to the beach. We drove to smelt sands to park which was about a one minute drive but you could easily walk about 10 minutes and be there. The tidepools at low tide were beautiful here along the 804 trail! This house is perfectly situated in Yachats with only a 10 minute drive to Cape Perptua which is so beautiful and one of our favorite places! It's also very close to Strawberry Hill where we enjoyed watching the sea lions, looking at the tidepools, and hunting for agates. The view of the ocean and the balcony are amazing. The house is huge and has plenty of space for large groups. The kitchen has all needed equipment and the 4 dining room tables provide ample space for cooking and serving to large groups. The grill, fire pit and large private lot made it easy to spend time outside. And the owner Candy was great with communication, very responsive, and comfortable to work with. The listing doesn’t even give it the credit it deserves as a very roomy and comfortable place to take a large group of people. It would be perfect for groups and retreats. We had a wonderful time there. We had everything we needed. And more than ample amenities. The beds were comfortable. All of the beds, Even the twin beds. We especially enjoyed the grill in the garage. We pulled it out and Cooked hamburgers and hotdogs on it. It is not the traditional grill, it is even better than the traditional grill. There was plenty of room for everyone and all of my friends and family had a great time. We booked it for my granddaughter‘s wedding which was taking place in Yachats. There is plenty of space and we love the open kitchen/living room and deck ocean view. The kids love the play structure and the big yard for throwing footballs and playing tag. We loved the location close to several beaches, tide pools, and hikes. There’s a small grocery store and a Dollar General close by. Bigger grocery stores are about 30 minutes away. Communication with the host was fantastic. We had a few questions and got responses right away. The house is reasonably clean (just don’t move any furniture). The kitchen is well stocked. The house is certainly dated but that didn’t bother us. It was a comfortable and affordable place in a beautiful setting for our family reunion. ##### Megan F.
