I didn't like the bathroom sink because water sat in it for hours after use. It is custom-made but poorly designed, as was the bathroom. The bathroom has little space to put stuff on. The curtains were difficult to operate. The room was clean, and the staff was super nice. The breakfast buffet is splendid.

I truly enjoyed my stay. my room was newly renovated and truly comfortable. what confused me that in a brand new room curtains are not frame to frame, can barely be moved and not closed. not only for the long summer days but later on the city lights. the staff did their best. we ultimately used my hair band to tether the curtains, with light pillers coming on the sides. the employees were really friendly and helpful, kind and generous with their time. the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom inviting.

We had a lovely stay this the Monopol - great location, lovely breakfast and the kids loved the pool. My only irk was the lighting in the bedrooms - the rooms were incredibly dark with little natural light and only dim mood lighting dotted about. This made it difficult to get ready properly/do make up without looking like a clown once you got outside.

This is the first review that I have ever written but I felt I needed to let others know what we experienced. First, the elevators were not working so we had to take the staff elevators. Next the room is extremely basic. Only 2 pillows and some sparse furniture. The most disappointing part was that the bathroom doesn’t have a regular stand up shower but a hand held. Really awkward. Not what you are expecting from a hotel that totes itself as the best in the city. And this is not just the standards of Poland because the place we stayed in krakow was so much nicer and along the same price point. I’m a platinum Expedia customer and would’ve expected better room placement. We were up all night due to rumbling from the wedding reception going on directly below us. Why they would put us there is beyond comprehension. And this is a restaurant with Michelin star dining. You guys really need to up your game.
