We used it for a base to enjoy Bruny Island and the Channel area. Views are to die for including waking up to a full view of across the island. Pillows and beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. Spacious accommodation. Peppermint Bay restaurant (on main road near water) is well worth a visit but only open Thursday to Sunday nights. Need to book at popular with locals. Classy food and great service. Hosts are great, very accommodating and easy to deal with. Will be back. We really enjoyed our stay at peppermint ridge retreat. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We were a couple and our friend and we had plenty of room. The fire had been prepared and all we had to do was light it. A hearty breakfast hamper is provided and you have all the cooking facilities and condiments you need. The views are stunning and it was wonderful to sit on the deck and enjoy the view from outside. I appreciated that Ben and Michaela cared about providing us with all the correct ways to recycle our rubbish with proper recycling and vegies scraps going to the chickens. Also the extensive mini bar was thoughtful for guests arriving unprepared. I would highly recommend staying here!!
