  • This renovated farmhouse (2020) is nestled back in the foothills of Stokes County with breathtaking views of Cook's wall and all the privacy for a relaxing get-away. The older homestead built in the 1800's still stands on the property. The Lucky House's sister home, Treetop, is next door (yet allowing plenty of privacy between the two homes) and sleeps 8 if you need more room for your guests. Treetop's Property ID# is 3934130 and is also available to rent on it's own.
    This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home sleeps 6 and is just minutes from all that Stokes County has to offer including Hanging Rock State Park, Moore Springs Manor, and historic Danbury. Explore the outdoors with hikes to the waterfalls, tube the Dan River, rock climbing and much more!
    Pilot Mountain State Park is also just a short drive away. Wi-Fi streams all you need on a large smart TV in the living area. New (2020) refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, range with oven, microwave, master bedroom and bathroom with beautiful tile shower and double sink vanity, and an outdoor patio with gas grill and fire pit to relax after your day. Perfect Getaway

This house was perfect for us. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for visiting Mt Airy, Pilot Mountain State Park and Hanging Rock State Park. I look forward to staying here again.

Tranquil Spot

Beautiful tranquil location beneath Hanging Rock State Park. Though chilly, we still enjoyed outside fires, deer trampling by. Peaceful, quiet, refreshed our souls.

Christmas Family Getaway

This property is beautiful and the host, Emily was outstanding! It was a very peaceful stay that allowed our busy family the chance to relax and connect. We spent hours at the fire pit talking, listening to music and enjoying each other’s company. This home has picturesque views and undeniable charm.

Lovely Vacation Spot

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway at the end of autumn. It is near Hanging Rock State Park and a quick drive from Pilot Mountain and JoLo Winery. The house is exactly as advertised and the property has stunning views. The owners included so many special and thoughtful touches.

Fabulous home, peaceful mountain setting

This was a fabulous home that we all thoroughly enjoyed. There were so many amenities provided to us that it felt just like home. Gorgeous mountain views, beautiful backyard, fire pit setting. Comfortable kitchen and living area. I would absolutely stay here again.

Together at Thanksgiving

This property was just as advertised. Its location allowed us to have an extended Thanksgiving family celebration at my daughters near by. Placed in such a beautiful spot one cannot help but relax and enjoy the moment.

Great rental!

This is our 3rd year staying at the lucky house. It never disappoints. The views are amazing of cooks wall and the property is beatuiful inside and out. It is well maintained and not far from both pilot mountain and hanging rock state parks. Im aure well stay there again.

Fantastic get away

Lovely clean and well equipped property, in a great location, with fantastic views. Emily was a great host, really responsive and helpful. The gift basket left for us on arrival was a lovely touch. We enjoyed the fire pit, plenty of smores were made!

Beautiful and clean place to stay

Perfect Area

The place is beautiful and the location is even more amazing! Perfect location for our wedding right down the road at Neatman Creek Disc Golf course and reception at Snyder Barn. Host was amazing leaving snacks and a sweet note. Thank you for an amazing place!
