This first floor unit sleeps up to 4 guests, and offers a fully furnished 1-Bedroom 1-Bathroom with an outdoor porch over looking Highland Lake. This space includes a full kitchen, a living room with pull out sofa bed, and a shared washer/dryer. There is a waterfront yard across the street with a boat dock, perfect for tying up any boat or watercraft. The yard includes a picnic table and stairs leading into the water for swimming. Don't have a boat? Rent one or other watercraft right next door at The Marina at Highland Lake and receive a 25% discount during your stay! The summer is not the only time for a vacation. We are only 30 minutes away from local ski resorts such as Ski Sundown, Mohawk and Otis. Highland Lake is also enjoyed for ice fishing. The Northwest corner offers some of the best leaf peeping around. Note that this is a renovated lake residence which has a second story rental which can get a bit noisy and the bathroom is in the rear of the house with the bedroom in the front. We were both pleasantly surprised at the spacious rooms and views. Jeanne and Eric were very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet them. We live in Florida now and came to Connecticut to visit family and friends. There were a lot of new memories made there and my son and son-in-laws enjoyed fishing and water skiing on the lake. it was wonderful to have a boat tie up right at the property. From beginning to end it was a great experience. The rental was spotless when we got there, was really roomy, and had everything we needed. The owners, Eric and Jeanne, were very welcoming and were available right away for any questions we had. When Our grandkids visited they really enjoyed the water right across the street and we all enjoyed the wonderful porch. The location is great for walking and close to anything you need along with a lot of good restaurants.
