Winchester Bay Vacation Packages

Stayed with my dog as a solo female traveler and felt safe here! The office staff were SO kind and helpful. The room was clean and functional for a good price. There wasn't any way to move air so I was glad I had a fan with me. The bed and pillows were clean and comfy. Parking felt secure. There was some road noise but it was more soothing white noise than highway sounds (to me). There was a large patch of green space next to the hotel (between two busy roads tho) that was nice for dog potty stops. Yes, it was busy roads but sometimes it's challenging to find grassy spaces for bathroom breaks so this worked great. Breakfast in the office met all of my needs.... I got a boiled egg, a banana, and some oatmeal (choice of 3 flavors) to make in the microwave. They also had 2 cereals, apples, yogurt, water, coffee, a handful of tea bags. For the price of the room this stay was one of the best overnights on the road I've done in this price range. Budget friendly and also a good value for what you get!

Shower water was nice and hot with plenty of pressure. Sink water faucet was either off or on full blast getting you soaked.

Understaffed (waited 5 minutes for someone to show up at reception), disorganized (gave us a room that had yet to be cleaned), and a little disingenuous (saud we didn't have to pay for the "better" room they put us in, which had the same amenities we had booked...). Floor was visibly dirty, but it was otherwise a comfortable stay.

Beautiful and breathtaking so relaxing! I will be taking my family back this summer. The sunrise and sunset photo shoots were unmatched.
