Not happy with my check in experience and the way it was dealt with. 40minutes wasted hanging about waiting. Fire alarm in the night. A fault in the system.No-one on premises to sort it out. Fire brigade came. We were outside an hour."

"We were attending a wedding at the hotel and on the day the electricity went off. It was completely out of the hands of the hotel but the staff worked tirelessly to ensure the wedding reception could go ahead. There was no power from 6am until late into the evening but somehow they kept everything on track and the event was a huge success. How they managed to serve such high quality food under the circumstances I don’t know. I’m sure they were all exhausted by the end of the day, but thank you for all your efforts!!"

It is an 800 year old building so not everything is perfect, but the food and service is great. The bathrooms were clean in both rooms. Parking is half a block away, so you need to plan out the unloading/loading a bit, that turned out to not be a big deal, but not expecting that caused us to spend quite a bit of extra time initially."

Room was clean, although the bathroom did have a lingering solvent smell, like it had recently been repainted. The hotel itself runs its own shuttle service to Stonehenge which was super convenient. Breakfast was good too."
