A lovely hotel with lots of history and we had a very comfortable stay with nice little extra touches like some biscuits. An excellent breakfast with such friendly and helpful service.

Very close to the train station. Lot of pubs around. The check-in was quick. The palace was spacious and clean. The breakfast was basic. Overall a good option for the price.

Nice location, staff were helpful and breakfast/food was great. Stayed for one night in the heat wave and room was sweltering - but found a fan in the wardrobe to help.
