The Space: Deepwater Point is a quiet, light-filled mid-century modern home designed for extended horse show stays. Skylights throughout and a wood-burning fireplace create a comfortable place to unwind after long days at Flintfields. The home offers generous living space, a well-equipped kitchen, and an outdoor deck with a bonfire pit for relaxed evenings. Nautical details pair naturally with the home’s mid-century design. The primary bedroom features a king bed and a coffee bar. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with ample storage. Twin futons in the living areas provide flexible lounging or additional sleeping space as needed. Side-lot parking easily accommodates a horse trailer, motorhome, or boat—an essential feature for show travel. A wooded path leads to shared public beach access on the East Arm of Grand Traverse Bay. Located just three miles from Flintfields, ten minutes from downtown Traverse City, and near Meijer, the VASA Trail, and TART Trail. High-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, Bluetooth speakers, wireless printer, and new washer and dryer support longer stays. 30-day minimum stay required. Rental Policy: \- No smoking or fireworks are permitted. \- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted. \- Minimum booking age is 25. \- One dog (1) is okay upon approval. No oversized or dangerous breeds. Pets are not permitted to be left alone for long periods of time. No pets on furniture. \- Must notify the host if you intend to bring a motorhome. No water hookup. Electrical only. No tents permitted. \- We have partnered with Safely to provide rental property damage protection for all reservations. \- Photo ID required. Guest Access: This property features self-check-in. Check-in after 10 pm is not permitted. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in. The Neighborhood: Acme Township Getting Around: Car is highly recommended! Other Things to Note: Guests are provided with a small amount of essentials, including paper towels, toilet paper in each bathroom, laundry pods, dish pods, dish soap, hand soap, and basic cleaning supplies. CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS: •November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds. •May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds. •Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.) •Dispose of food and trash. •Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. •Put patio cushions back.
