The house is pretty much as they described in the listing. We had a family of 8 and the layout worked quite well for us. Plenty of entertaining area both inside and out. The view is amazing we could see turtles and sharks from our balcony!! The pool area we did not use at all as was in such a bad position and sitting outside at the property smelt quite badly (not sure if it was sewerage) and seemed very run down. The owners definitely need to put some money into the outdoors. We also had a possum in the roof area above the main bedroom. Didn’t cause too much trouble but did hear it moving constantly from about 4.30am. Whole house bedrooms were mainly OK, don’t rely on the sofa bed as so uncomfortable . Spacious, well equipped, fantastic view, glorious deck area and wonderful secluded location. Being able to use all the facilities of Catseye beach and then retreat to our own home from home was wonderful. Everyone had their own space and the communal areas were large and airy. The welcome birthday bubbles were an unexpected bonus! The pool is a bit small but we only used it for a quick cool down after a run. Lack of a door on the master bedroom bathroom was also a little odd but that is a minor quibble. The golf buggies are such a fun way to get around. A wonderful stay and the hosts could not have been more helpful. Everyone on the island was welcoming and cheerful and birthday dinner at the Beach Club restaurant was superb. Favourite area was the reading nook in the parent retreat - views were amazing, nestled amongst the trees and we saw a sea eagle and turtles!
