Wonderful location to poke around in the cute shops in White Salmon and Hood River. We actually had a few snowflakes Christmas eve, adding to this special stay! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. One thing to watch out for is the designated sloped parking area to the left of the bamboo…very muddy, and we actually got stuck. It took us 30 minutes of inching out, with two fellas pushing the car to finally reach pavement. It kept me from having a good night's rest while there. 2)LED lights have come a long way from the harsh blue original version used in this house. Softer, warmer lighting would be much nicer in this cool, blue home interior. The lighting was more like a shop than a cozy home, especially in the long nights of gray autumn.
