The entrance door for guests is piled high with cigarette ends, not a good look. Our room at the top of a very narrow staircase was so small, the bed was a small double and we didn’t get much sleep. Not fit for two adults. The room was so hot but we couldn’t keep the window open as the pubs cellar cooling system ran all night long with the system just under our window. They don’t offer breakfast which is not included, until 10 am, too late as we had a bus to catch at that time. Real hotels offer breakfast from much earlier. The room itself had a strong smell like a damp carpet or drain as we opened the door. We left the window open while we walked around the town but the smell remained...it was even stronger in the wee bathroom which had no ventilation and a notice advising to keep the bathroom door and window open while showering to prevent steam build up. Speaking of which, there were no toiletries in the shower.
