A two minute walk will bring you into the hustle and bustle of the seaside town, with its quaint cobbled streets, numerous eateries and atmospheric harbour. Taste the wonderful fish and chips and work them off with an exhilarating cliff-top walk, or relax on the long sandy beach. Jump on the tour bus to make sure you don’t miss out on everything Whitby has to offer, or take a trip on one of the pleasure boats and enjoy a tour around the harbour and out to sea. Discover the stunning scenery of the North York Moors and explore the spectacular coastline rich in fossils, and the famous Whitby Jet. Experience a trip on the famous North York Moors steam train, which is overlooked by the property, taking you from Whitby to the lovely market town of Pickering, stopping off at Goathland, otherwise known as Aidensfield in the TV series ‘Heartbeat’. The house is a typical town house over 4 floors plus entrance level with the kitchen/diner and main living area situated on the same floor making it very easy for the whole family to be involved in the prep of meals etc. On the whole we loved everything about it with one or two minor things, we were unable to use the living area at the entrance level as it was extremely cold and checking out was a bit early given we had 5 children plus Christmas presents etc. to get out by 10.00 am. ##### Lorraine G.
