I didn't find the church bell no bother at all in fact it was quite comforting . The apartment did have two small steps one in bathroom which my partner nearly fell over and from hallway to front room but the building is listed so I know you have to expect this . Wi fi would have been nice . The downside was the outside noise which was specified in the booking info. To me it's a bit irresponsible of the bar license holder . The security should ask the customers just to keep a certain level of noise but this is outside of the apartments hands . If you want somewhere very central and enjoy a little hustle and bustle this the place for you . On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised with the standard of the property. It was beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything that you would require and more. It was spotlessly clean. There is an abundance of bars and restaurants around. All the main shops are a couple of minutes walk away. The harbour is a couple of minutes away and right opposite is the beautiful St Mary’s Church. It chimes on the hour and every half hour but you just get used to it. As the apartment is totally in the centre of Weymouth town it was a little noisy after the pubs and clubs shut down.
