Although it’s on the main road, it’s quite set back and the pub being just opposite this makes for a lovely combination. There is also a convenience store along the road if you wanted to get a morning newspaper etc. The room was very spacious which was nice. Just had to be careful of the beams. The only thing I didn’t enjoy personally was that the owner was quite headmistress like in terms of rules and what she wanted, which basically made us feel like kids being told off, which is not something I want when paying £118 for an overnight stay, but my partner says that perhaps B&Bs are not for me. It’s worth being aware that this is a very old house with its own character, creaky floorboards and all! Good pub across the road for food. Kerstin is a wonderful host and makes you feel most welcome. We stayed in the upstairs double bed room and it was very comfortable and spacious with a very nice living area. Upstairs and downstairs guests need to be mindful of each other as it is an old building and noise travels. We enjoyed a continental breakfast both days which is served in Kerstin's part of this lovely house. We enjoyed a very nice meal at the pub across the road and received a complimentary drink each from Kerstin.
