The owner, Louis (very friendly and personable), was there to receive us following our long day from Halifax. Our room (the largest one) was ready and clean. The breakfast were like the ones we cook at home (hubby likes his eggs sunny side up 😜), toast, tomato, bacon, coffee, juice and what ever else you needed. We will not hesitate to book again with Louis when in the area. Merci beaucoup Mr. Roberge et a la prochaine.

Nice location - very friendly!

This is a nice location, with a great view on the river. Good parking space. House features three upstairs bedrooms but owner usually rents only two at a time. Only one small bathroom on the second floor, functional and very clean. Only negative is the dirt road leading to the house. The day we were there, a grader scraped the road surface to even it out, but it rained right after, turning the road into a mud lane.

Excellent séjour ! La chambre était très confortable et chaleureuse, et la salle de bain était impeccable. Le propriétaire était très serviable, poli et accueillant tout au long du séjour. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, avec une omelette maison, du pain frais, du jus de fruits et du café. L’établissement est situé juste en face de la rivière, offrant une vue magnifique et une atmosphère très paisible. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

L'hébergement manque d'amour. Le quaie n'était pas installé. Il y avait un rond de feu sans chaise. Sur le balcon, une chaise berçante orientée vers le stationnement. On doit passer par la cuisine et le salon du propriétaire pour accéder à la chambre. C'est la première fois que je vois ce type de configuration. Au déjeuner, on est servi un à la fois et le propriétaire demeure avec nous. Fort sympathique soit dit en passant, mais je dois avouer qu'un peu d'intimité aurait été appréciée.

L'établissement, au bors de la Rivière au Saumon, est situé dans un lieu enchanteur, à seulement 35 min du parc national du Mont-Mégantic (secteur Franceville) et l'accueil comme la conversation par Louis furent chaleureux et intéressants. Seul bémol, si la fraîcheur portée par le ventilateur de notre chambre fût grandement appréciée, en revanche, son bruit ne fût pas reposant.
