The building and decor is old and eclectic. Room was quiet and the bed comfortable, but felt a bit run down and could have been cleaned better. The bar/restaurant "Basso" is steps away for great food, a lively bar and moderate prices. The provided lobby breakfast/coffee was simple but fine. Most hotels we’ve stayed at keep their pool areas open until 9 or 10, so this was a little disappointing.
