  • The cottage has two bedrooms and 2 full baths and has been renovated and has the personal touches of your home such as central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, hardwood floors, fully stocked kitchen, high speed internet, and four televisions with Direct TV, Netflix, Hulu and Prime TV.

    Walker Ridge is also within easy driving distance to Lake Junaluska, Maggie Valley, Asheville, Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Area and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Golf View In Waynesville

This cottage was adorable and a great location! Our only compliant was the cleanliness - Cobb Webbs were in the baths and den but other than that it was decorated so cute and loved the views and location. The rental company was super flexible on check in and check out and so easy to work with.

Long fall weekend

The house was everything it said it was. It had everything we needed to enjoy the fall weekend. It is close enough to Asheville and other sites to get to in an hour, but in a quiet residential neighborhood so we could enjoy some peace and quiet. Loved the wood floors as I have allergies and carpet sometimes bothers me.

Christmas Get-a-way

We had a wonderful Christmas Break at the property. The home is beautifully updated and decorated. Everything was clean. Kitchen was well stocked to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had great time! We stayed on a very cold week for the area. The heat in the downstairs/basement was not working and the mgmt team was very responsive and came by the next day with a space heater. We loved the location and view. We would stay at this location again and highly recommend. Thanks for a great visit!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the perfect location. The rental company was very attentive. But that’s where it ends. The owner preferred to use her cleaning service and the house was not clean! The furniture was old and not at all comfortable. There were no drawers for clothing so we lived out of our suitcases for 2 weeks. It’s a shame because it is a perfect location, but we will not be back.

Beautiful and comfortable

This is a terrific home--and in a wonderful location. The view of the mountains from the deck and the sitting room is spectacular. The only reason it doesn't have a full five starts in every category was a problem with the outside lighting. We were in and out several times after dark, and the outside lights (including those down stone stairs) did not work. We contacted the property manager, but no one came to take care of it. It was a potential hazard. It didn't spoil our stay in this beautiful home, but I wouldn't stay again if it weren't fixed.

So much dust and dog hair

There was a black haired dog there before us and it was unclear if any of the covers had been washed. When coupled with the dead bugs and visible cob webs it mad it hard to enjoy an otherwise beautiful property that was decorated with care. Couple of other notes: - I didn’t see this listed - but probably worth noting you need to climb two flights of steps to get into place. - heater in the basement is broken - if the outside lights work - we couldn’t figure out how to turn them on. Really is a great place that just needs a little more attention, would probably try it again in the hopes that this review fixes the relatively easy problems.

I have never provided input after a rental stay. We travel as a family and use short-term rental companies 3-4 times a year. I read the comments on the provider site before my stay and felt the problems would likely be addressed and not a matter for us. This is a beautiful property with a terrific view. Unfortunately, we still had issues. We stayed for a long-weekend to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. A stay in October in the mountains is understandably high-season and we paid a premium rate for this rental. I am disappointed this rental management company does not provide the necessary supplies all other short-term rentals have provided us with previous stays. For instance, dishwasher tabs were not present in the unit. There was dishsoap, but no dish sponge or scrubber. Yet, there is a charge for dishes left in the dishwasher or left unclean. We arrived at 9:30pm and there was so little toilet paper, we had to leave early the next morning to get TP. There was no hand soap or bath gel in the kitchen or bathrooms. I alerted the rental company the next morning, so they would know, and I was told they would alert their housekeeping company to do a better job next time and no effort was made to make our stay more comfortable. As previous reviews stated, we also found cobwebs and spiderwebs inside the unit. I cannot trust the management works to address issues and concerns on this property.

Amazing mountain views

I wasn’t expecting how beautiful the views were from the living room window. The location was great. Close to a Walmart and Ingles if needed but also close to a cute small town. Best of both worlds. Can sleep 3 couples easily.

We had a great stay and loved all of the little touches the owners have put in place to make the stay perfect. We would have liked a table lamp in the king bedroom and a regular coffeemaker, or the knowledge that there was only a Keurig before arriving. A coffee table in the downstairs den would be handy for snacks and games. The small leather sofa upstairs wasn't conducive to our whole family being able to watch the enormous TV but it wasn't a big deal. We loved the place and can't wait to come back again!

Wonderful mountain house

This is a lovely mountain home in a great location. This house is very nicely updated and well detailed. It’s very comfortable and easy to stay in. The location is great, close to town but not too close. Morning coffee on the porch is a great way to watch the sun ride over the mountains and golf course. This property is very comfortable and we would stay here again. We recommend it.

Nicely decorated and updated property set up on a fairly busy two lane winding road across from golf course with beautiful view of the mountains. There are two small bedrooms upstairs that share a bathroom in the hallway. Downstairs there is a large bathroom and an open area/ family room with a surprisingly comfortable pull out sofa bed. It is a short drive to downtown Waynesville with cute shops and nice restaurants. Very relaxing.
