Welcome to Campbell Mountain Hideaway, managed by Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes, a trusted, family-owned business proudly serving Maggie Valley and Waynesville travelers since the early 1990s.

Nestled in a gated Maggie Valley community, Campbell Mountain Hideaway offers privacy, mountain charm, and modern comfort for families or small groups. This spacious log home accommodates up to ten guests, featuring open living areas, upscale finishes, and a peaceful park-like setting.

THE SPACE

This inviting cabin includes:
• 4 Bedrooms: 1 king, 1 queen, 1 twin + bunk bed (full below/twin top), and a bonus TV/play room with a queen sleeper sofa
• 3 Full bathrooms

The open floor plan features a soaring two-story great room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a gas fireplace, and warm wood interiors. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, dishwasher, and microwave, along with plenty of space for family meals and entertaining.

RELAXATION & OUTDOOR LIVING

Enjoy expansive decking, a large open yard, and a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Kids will love the playhouse, and everyone will appreciate the peaceful mountain views and cool mountain air.

Easily accessed year-round by paved roads, the cabin features a flat driveway with space to turn around—ideal for motorcycles or small trailers (please inquire if bringing a larger trailer).

  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

Great family fun

We enjoyed the home. Well stocked. Four year old was thrilled when he found all the toys! Adults loved the books! The view, decking amazing! The only negative was we may have been the first guests of the season because there were a lot of spider webs and dirt on the extensive decking.. I did a lot of sweeping! But in the gorgeous weather I enjoyed it!Another positive was the honesty of the housekeeper.. in the chaos of checking out and loading the car she left her suitcase! She didn’t realize it until she got home. Paul and Katie were great getting it to Fed-ex

Great cabin

We loved our stay at the cabin. Updated bathrooms and kitchen. One thing that's important to me, very hot shower water and water pressure. :) The drive into the cabin wasn't too steep or narrow. We had an issue getting the fireplace started but the property manager took care of it pretty quick. Plenty of games and local are info in the cabin. The one thing I'd recommend if you stay in the area during winter, make sure whatever you plan to do while you are here is actually going to be open when you are here. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Great Cabin with amazing views

This cabin was amazing. Not only were the views awesome but the cabin itself was gorgeous. We have been staying in Maggie Valley for 13 years (wife’s family lives here) and this by far is our favorite cabin we have stayed at!

NC Mountains family trip

Great cabin! If you're already on here looking and considering booking this one, please do it. Everything was laid out perfectly for our stay. The location is private and very quiet. Plenty of space to relax and unwind. We would definitely return and stay here again.

Family Easter Spring Break

Just the greatest

A Blissful Retreat

Great Family Rental

Was really impressed with how family friendly everything was. Lots of toys and games for variety of ages, tree house down the hill was a great surprise, side yard great for outdoor play, and sleeping arrangements made sense. Only minor feedback would be lack of tv in master suite. It doesn’t detract from the rating but my wife and I are ashamed to admit we use it to fall asleep. I will say though, the master had great space for a pack-n-play and even though we’re out of that season of our life it doesn’t escape our memory of rentals that lacked that critical element. Overall super rental and we would consider again.

Great family time

This property was just as it looks and states. Very clean,spacious and beautiful!!! My grandkids loved the all the books and toys and the adults took advantage of coffee on the porch with beautiful views. More than we could have imagined!!! We will be back again!!

We loved the interiors. Very elaborate, neat and clean, spacious and everything was in the right spot. Good property management. Overall very good experience staying there. Location wise it is perfect as it is not too far into the woods and in the middle of the city. The entire area looked gorgeous in fall.

Enjoyed our stay with family

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Loved all the games, toys and movies for the kids. The home was very clean. Also there was a professional waffle iron that we used every morning. A lot of extras like cooking spices that were good to have. There were big TVs in the living room and family room, but not in bedrooms. The beds were comfortable too! We would definitely come back! The home is beautiful 👍

Nice house - read description carefully

We found the listing to be slightly misleading. In the bedroom breakdown, it lists 4 bedrooms and 7 beds. It is actually 3 bedrooms plus a bonus room (which isn't a problem because it had a door for privacy). There were only 5 beds plus a pull out sofa. The written description of the property did explain this somewhat more accurately, but I missed that. We came with 10 people and ended up with kids sleeping on the floor. Had the bed breakdown been more accurate, we could have planned accordingly. Other than the bed situation, we really enjoyed our stay. The property was well stocked and had a beautiful view. The location was great too.

The house was very nice and full of cool amenities and activities… everything was labeled and easy…. Super comfortable spaces to hang out…. Fast Wi-Fi…. Cabin was nice

Cabin was very clean, nice kitchen, updated appliances. Beds were good. Private setting on 3 acres. Had issues with cable, but the owner tried to get resolved. Only issue I had was the road noise from Interstate 40. The way the noise rolled thru the valley, I found distracting sitting on the deck. Not much noise from I-40 once inside with doors and windows closed. Overall, a nice place.
