We loved that it’s basically located on a working farm and within close proximity to beaches and ice cream! This added to the charm and convenience of this property. Describing it as Waterfront is an accurate in that the property backed up to water, but there was no access to the water from the property. This was just a minor thing for us, but if you have your heart set on walking from the house to the water, it might not meet your expectations. Our stay happened to be during an unusual heat wave, so it was hot, but there were plenty of fans for us to use! It is an old house with lots of charm and clean but the vanity in our room really needed to be replaced. The doors had fallen off and the sink was all stained. A couple of the mattresses needed replacing. They caved in the middle. The owner was very reachable. When we called to see if they have cable for TV as we wanted to watch the debate she answered her phone immediately. We used our accounts to watch it on YouTube as the house is not hooked up to any provider. There was a note left on the counter, apologizing, to say the dishwasher didn’t work. We were able to negotiate a very fair discount as a result. Other than the dishwasher the kitchen was great. We are were quite impressed with the quantity and quality of dishes and the size of the dining room. Finally, the location is great.
