### Setter Haus - Dog Friendly, near Purina Farms and WashMO
With hardwood floors and a beautiful mix of industrial and vintage decor, the Setter Haus is a fully renovated 4-bedroom house centrally located to Purina Farms, WashMo, wine country, and St. Louis.
Ideal for a stay in the Show Me state, the Setter Haus hosts business travelers, solo travelers, dog show competitors, and couples looking to enjoy the greater St. Louis area.
THE SPACE
The Setter Haus has an open living, dining, and kitchen area, and 4 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each. Full bathroom located in the hallway with washer and dryer and a second bathroom with shower in the lower level.
Only 10 minutes to the Purina Events Center, the Setter Haus is popular with guests competing at events held throughout the year.
THE BEDROOMS
With crisp white linens and a deliciously comfortable queen bed in each bedroom, your sleep is high priority at the Setter Haus. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms in the lower level. \*Note that the ceiling in the lower level is a low ceiling.
PEACEFUL RETREAT
The Setter Haus was created as a retreat of peace and relaxation while you are in the area. Whether you are here for business, exploring Missouri parks and wine country, biking the Katy Trail, or visiting family for a wedding or holiday, the Setter Haus will be your place to rejuvenate.
LIVING AREA
The living area features an incredibly gorgeous area rug that you want to dig your toes into when you sit back to catch up on your Netflix series. The Roku smart TV has streaming as well as Dish Sling, YouTube, Spotify, and more.
\*Note that you will need to have your own Netflix, Hulu, Dish. etc. accounts to access those features as we do not share our accounts with you.\*
The couch is also a luxury king size sofa sleeper by Luonto.
KITCHEN
Fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave as well as several small appliances that you can't live without (i.e. Keurig, regular coffeemaker, teapot). The Setter Haus is equipped with white place settings, solid flatware, and sleek glassware, as well as wine glasses for relaxing.
BATHROOMS
The clean, well lit bathroom is located in the hall and contains a stacked washer and dryer. Plush towels await you when you step out of the shower. The second bathroom is in the lower level and has a shower.
FRONT PORCH AND YARD
A newly landscaped front walk and front porch welcome you to enjoy a cup of morning coffee or relax in the evening with local beer or wine while Fido plays in the yard.
PETS
A family dog or two are welcome to come with you, but only with prior approval. Please note that the county requires that you keep your dog on a leash outside and clean up the poo. There is a $25/night rate plus tax per dog.
If you are coming for competition at Purina Events Center, please contact us for approval of multiple dogs and a special dog rate. The dog rate applies to ALL dogs on property, even those you choose not to bring inside the home.
NEIGHBORS
The Setter Haus shares the gravel drive and acreage with our Fox Haus and Hound Haus. You will see the other two homes nearby. Have friends with you? Book the "Pack" of three houses together.

GUEST ACCESS
The main and lower levels of the home as well as the porch, deck, and yard are all yours to enjoy. The owner's locked storage closet on the main level and locked storage area in the lower level are not available to guests.

🚗 Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book, along with a selfie holding your photo ID
🆔 We will perform a Guest ID verification securely through our payment processor after you book. The main purpose is to make sure no one has stolen your credit card and used it without your permission.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel before 30 days of arrival, you receive a full refund of your deposit, less a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, there is no refund.

This was a great place to stay for a family. Lots of yard space as well. Private area. Decorated very nice. The only complaint I have is that the oven upstairs did not work, as well as 2 of the gas burners. So we had to use the downstairs oven. Someone did come by to look at the problem but they were not able to fix either problem. We would stay here again but want to make sure these problems were resolved.

Super cute and spacious home. The favorite spot for our group was definitely the side porch. The area is clean and feels very safe. My only complaint, and I wouldn’t even call it a complaint really, was the cleanliness of the downstairs area was not great. The upper half of the house was fabulous. Decorated nicely and clean. Definitely would stay here again.

Everything was clean! Deck had a lot of leaves! The bedrooms downstairs were small with no closets and no curtains on the window! There was only one medium frying pan and one small hard to cook for everyone! Also there were bees by an outer building two boys got stung!

The property was as described! We were in the area for our National Dog Show at Purina Farms Event Center for a week. The location was perfect distance to Purina. There was ample green space to walk the dogs. The property manager was very responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend this property and will be staying again in the future!

Close enough to civilization and all the amenities but removed enough to feel like a little getaway, exactly what we were looking for. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Villa Ridge.

#### Weekend Stay for Nearby Bridal Shower
We had a group of 6 in town for a bridal shower and Setter Haus was a good size for our needs. The patio was nice for an evening or morning chat. Great location near many vineyards for exploring. The property managers were proactive in communicating and also very responsive when we needed bedding for the sofa bed. Would stay here again. ☺️

My friend & I stayed at Setter Haus during a dog show at Purina Farms. It was highly recommended by a friend & we were not disappointed! The home was lovely & much more spacious than pictures appeared. It was a quick, easy commute to Purina, & various shopping & groceries were nearby, as well. It was very quiet, & we were very pleased. The staff was so prompt & friendly with replies regarding any questions we had. This is how all VRBO properties should be!

#### Showed dogs at purina farms
We stayed for a week while we were showings our dogs at purina farms. It was so nice to be able to relax in the evenings and cook our own meals . Loved the deck and the grill . The yard was nice to be able to setup exercise pens so the dogs could relax also. So much better than a hotel . The house was spotless and the beds so very comfortable. Will definitely be back if in the area . Thank you so much.

My wife and I stayed in this property for 4 nights. What a relaxing stay! Very quiet! Beautiful property a mile or so from I44. Highly recommended! Will definitely be my first choice the next time I am in the area!!

#### Dog Theme Home in the Country
We stayed 5 nights in August. Home was clean, well stocked and convenient to our family and activities. Host communicated well before and during our trip. Location is easy for a Hermann winery trip, Six Flags, St. Louis day trip or Washington Town & Country Fair to name a few. Thank you for sharing your home with us. #### 2022 Friends Float Trip
The Propety Manager and the overall home was an incredibly easy, accommodating experience! My Cousin & her Husband's dog-sitter canceled on them last minute, before the float trip. I reached out to the homes contact, & didn't have a problem accommodating the dog so last-minute. They even had a goodie-box ready to go for them! The space was great, extremely clean, cool and welcoming!

#### Setter Haus
Setter Haus was perfect for our stay during our Cocker Spaniel National held at Purina Farms which was a short distance from the house. We were able to sit back, relax and enjoy the evenings together. Very clean, ample room for a small group. Loved it so much we have booked it again for next year.

My family really enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect. It was on a quiet road but centrally locate to St Louis and Six Flags… and our favorite WALLY’S. The was house clean and comfortable, would stay again when in the area.

#### Family of the Bride
We used this home for the weekend during my daughter‘s wedding. The home was close to Riverbend Chapel, where the wedding would be held. We had hair and make up done, two photographers, the father of the bride‘s first look, outdoor photos, all taken at this location. The newlyweds spent their first night in a little home just behind this one. Everything about it was perfect. The description is accurate. It is actually larger if anything.
