Parking is limited - there are a few spots along the drive up to the hotel; otherwise, I was told there was a bigger spot but it was a bit of a walk. The room key is attached to a HEAVY weight, which is hard to carry in your pocket. I was told you could leave it at the desk daily. "Arriving by train had to ask how to get to hotel as having NO working handy coming from oversees . The access to hotel very steep and a challenge using a walker (rollator), however it was very nice of the receptionist/manager backing down a car to manage the steep hill, although there are 45 steps to use. Later on enjoying a beer/wine in the very quiet lobby using the rocking chairs. To explore Meissen, we used a taxi from hotel - called by staff - to the Dom and from there a sight seeing bus...

"It's a nice traditional place, very well located in the old town. Very clean but not very modern, and with a shower-in-tub arrangement that was difficult to deal with and felt quite dangerous.
