Our “Home with Heart” is located in the quiet area of Minsen-Tengshausen, just a few kilometres from the popular beach towns of Schillig and Horumersiel. This detached vacation home was renovated in 2016 with great attention to detail and now offers the ideal retreat for anyone seeking relaxation, nature, and sea air.
With approximately 100 m² of living space, there’s plenty of room for up to six people to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. The house is located on a quiet side street and sits on a spacious, fully fenced property with 1,000 m² of garden space—perfect for families with children and also for guests with dogs.
On the first floor, you’ll find a bright, open living and dining area that invites you to linger. The living room features a cozy wood-burning stove that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially on cooler days. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your vacation, and a washing machine is also available. A separate guest restroom rounds out the ground-floor layout.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: two of them are furnished with double beds, while the third is a children’s room with a single bed (which pulls out to a double bed) and a crib. The modern, natural-light-filled bathroom on this floor features a toilet and a walk-in shower.
The house’s location is ideal for anyone who loves the North Sea coast but wants to stay away from the hustle and bustle. The sea is only about 1,000 metres away, and the nearest swimming and dog beach is 4 to 5 kilometres away—easily reached by bike or car. Shopping options and numerous attractions in the region are also within easy reach. Tengshausen – A Rural Idyll Near the North Sea Coast

Nestled amid the green expanses of the Wangerland region lies the quiet village of Tengshausen—ideal for anyone seeking relaxation in a natural setting. Away from the hustle and bustle, Tengshausen offers rural tranquility yet an excellent location: the well-known resort towns of Schillig and Horumersiel, with their beaches, boardwalks, and restaurants, are just a few kilometres away and easily accessible by car or bike.

From here, you can take wonderful excursions along the North Sea coast—whether on foot, by bike, or simply to enjoy the fresh sea air. The combination of peace and quiet on-site and proximity to popular vacation destinations makes Tengshausen an ideal starting point for relaxing yet varied days in Wangerland.
