Stylish and spacious, the property provides a wonderful base for holidaying in North Norfolk to explore the beautiful coastline and many inland attractions. Bay Tree Cottage is a mid-terrace conversion that has been thoughtfully curated to offer its guests ultimate comfort and convenient. The ground floor comprises of a well-equipped kitchen/ diner, which is ideal for guests who enjoy cooking with local produce while away on holiday, and there is a large, naturally lit sitting room featuring a living flame fire, Smart television, and french doors that open out into an extensive private rear garden. Upstairs, three inviting bedrooms are presented. The master bedroom hosts a king-size and also includes a television for slow, lazy mornings. A double is offered by bedroom two, which benefits from an en-suite shower room, and bedroom three hosts twin 3ft beds. A family bathroom featuring twin basins, a bath, and separate shower serves these rooms making Bay Tree Cottage a perfect place for a family to stay during school holidays, or two couples for enjoy throughout the year. Originally a high end cottage which is not being maintained or cleaned to a high enough standard expected of a holiday let. We had to clean areas on arrival. The shower screen and shower knob were broken in ensuite shower, glass furniture had a crack and there were drink spills down walls. Generally paintwork is grubby. Although there were previous comments about poor cleaning in visitors book, there didn't seem to be a great deal of improvement. Cottage was in quiet location near to village, and a good base for the area, but unfortunately quite a few small things which needed attention. Not really suitable for older people with mobility issues, there were two large steps in ensuite which were not mentioned in description. No welcome hamper so buy milk etc before you arrive! Thought it was expensive compared to other properties in which I have stayed, general maintenance could be improved. Note also that the Norfolk Riddle restaurant/fish & chip takeaway in Walsingham has closed down. ##### Julie N. It was really useful having both interesting places and amenities such as village shop and pub within walking distance. The cottage was laid out well, with everything needed for 'a home from home' stay. With any rental property it is hard to keep everything such as paint work pristine with so many visitors passing through consequently the property although very good will need 'a paint touch up' at the end of the season. Had to phone to obtain code, which was given promptly. Nice' roomy, well equipped cottage, lovely location and outlook. Some features not good, e.g. ensuite shower had a slippery floor with nothing provided to help, no grab handle, surely a must for oldies, and no basket for shampoo, shower gel etc. Similarly, the main bathroom wet room had no handle and a very slippery floor. Mar 5, 2018 #### Bay Tree Cottage Bay Tree Cottage is a stylish and comfortable holiday home in an idyllic location. We liked the walk in shower room and the spacious dining kitchen. The garden had a lovely outlook onto a field and woods. It was a short walk to local villages. We especially enjoyed the snowdrop walk in the Abbey grounds in Little Walsingham. It took us 10 minutes to drive to the beaches at Wells next the Sea and Holkham. The cottage itself was an inviting place to return to after trips out or to relax in when the weather wasn't so good.
