Online hotel looks beautiful but when you get there is a whole different story! This place is ran down , dirty, hair and crumbs all over my room curtains are disgustingly yellow like cigarettes have been smoked in there. No agent at the desk multiple times, housekeepers look like they just rolled out of bed working in their pajamas! Definitely not happy that I paid 200 to stay there especially because I’m a manager at a hotel and this place was horrible. I would have been better off staying at a motel 6! Will never stay there again!!

I really enjoy the location of this hotel. It is also dog friendly! This is my number one reason to stay here . From what I understand they are doing many upgrades so it is a diamond in the rough. I would definitely stay here again. They just installed a sauna which wasn't quite working. It would be wonderful to sit in on a cool Misty morning. The restaurant smelled wonderful but, I did not get a chance to eat there. The staff was very helpful. The beach is just a short walk away and many attractions are within just a short drive.

A good budget place to stay at a midpoint of both sides of the coast. Has a beautiful river at the back. The hotel itself would benefit from some renovation but the price makes up for it.

Nice view and friendly staff. Room was clean (except the window) but small for two queen beds. The continental breakfast turned out to be small packaged muffins and coffee, so that was extremely disappointing and I do not believe it should be advertised as a continental breakfast. The room furniture was in poor shape; our dresser had three out of five handles missing, although the front desk said they were in the process of updating the furniture. The beds were comfortable. Pool and hot tub were closed.

This is a pet-friendly property with easy access via sliding glass door to the outside which was wonderful. Room was clean but did find a live spider in the bed. Beds were ok but phone wasn't plugged in which I never understand why staff doesn't ensure that is done in the process of putting the room right? We just thought the phone didn't work, which we were told by front desk staff often happens in rural areas?

Great location, friendly staff, and reasonably priced rooms. The hotel property was in good condition. The rooms were furnished appropriately, but dated. Beds were comfortable and furnishings included a table, two chairs, microwave, small fridge/freezer, and in room safe. Overall good stay and experience.

the place is beautiful, the view magnificent I was in Waldport for something not so fun, but being able to relax at the end of the day was healing. The room was spacious, he bed comfortable and although I did not use it like I thought I would, the kitchen was great. We plan on visiting again. Jeff at the front desk was particularly helpful

Front desk guy was very friendly and helpful. Great location with a wonderful view of the bay. Paid for a pet room obviously you have to pay a pet fee. I don’t know why because these floors probably haven’t been cleaned in a decade. They were disgusting. I spilled water, tried to dry it up and the towel turned black. It stank like wet dog and urine. They should have to keep these rooms cleaned since they’re taking extra money. At least make it a refundable deposit. Fridge had no shelves and was dirty. Patio door had so many finger prints and nose prints you could barely see out. There was also several filled poop bags right out the door. I did let the front desk know about the room (nicely)

This place is the perfect spot! My only complaint is those insane bright lights out back. The stars are gorgeous at night and the bridge all lit up too. Such a perfect quiet place to stay and the restaurant was delicious and had great drinks!

It was deceptively advertised. Nothing like what you felt you were going to be staying at. The Lady up front was shifty and shady and seemed to want to play games with us checking in. I would think twice about staying here. I do NOT recommend staying here. IT WAS A HUGE LET DOWN!!!!

My stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing and did not match the photos online. The room appeared unfinished, featuring floor stains and multiple electrical outlets missing their covers, which raised serious safety concerns. Maintenance was clearly neglected throughout the property. While the ocean view was pleasant, it could not make up for the poor condition of the room and the lack of basic upkeep. I would not recommend staying here.

The room was dirty and outdated - crunchy carpet, old soiled curtains, torn screen, burnt out light bulbs and the room smelled like it had been smoked in for years. It was a tough stay. For an empty place we were given a room on the first floor with a view of an old pool house and messy closed down pool instead of a view of the water. No effort to make the stay half way decent. But I don’t think Expedia will post negative reviews like this.

My partner and I have been frequenting the Newport and Lincoln City area as a possible move. We decided to stay in Waldport this time, and booked and king bed with balcony. The best part of our stays has been the ocean view which is why we chose the room we did. When we arrived and checked in we were given our room. We got the king bed, but we did not get the balcony, instead our view was the covered pool, and a sidewalk. The staff was so so nice, and we didn’t want to cause more stress so we decided it was not a big deal. We tried to get to sleep and as we entered our room the door could only be secured shut if slammed. We could hear the guests on either side of us snoring and urinating. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We ultimately decided to check out early and find somewhere else to stay. However, the staff are all so kind, and wonderful. Understand that these issues are not their fault, and chose not to complain to them. However I did overhear a conversation where another guest called as there was a leak in her room. She was instructed to let them know if any Sheetrock or strong water stream started to come through. I feel like the immediate response should’ve been let me get you a new room. Anyways, we won’t be staying here again, but it’s affordable and if you don’t care about heating other guests lives, it’s great!
