Like how secluded the property is. Needs major fixture upgrades in the bathrooms. Had issues with toilets and shower. The remodel was done poorly in the restrooms. I won’t stay again due to bathroom issues. Toilets are small, fixtures were loose, paint splatter in floors, caulking was mess in both bathrooms.

If you need tv, don't bother. Only a dvd player downstairs. Free coffee in morning was nice. Quiet and friendly place. Nice hotel restaurant. There's a gift shop and don't dare go without the boat tour. That is the highlight.

Was driving from Texas to Fla had no choice but to stop in the area. It was late at night. I explained to the front desk clerk that my children have allergies to animals he said no problem. I will give you my best cleanest room that doesn’t allow animals well when first getting into the room, the first thing we noticed was the thousands of bugs that were dead and alive all over the room. I simply went to the front desk, asked him for a vacuum. He said all he had was a broom and dustpan, and proceeded to follow me to the room. He did sweep up all the dead bugs apologized, and then left.. After being in the room for about an hour, all of us started experiencing allergic reaction like symptoms, runny nose, coughing, etc. after finally crashing out falling asleep, waking up two hours later after the air conditioner had been running for a couple of hours when I woke up, I realized how badly the urine smell was in the room and this is what was causing respiratory irritation I immediately went down to speak with him. He said it was nothing he could do that. There was no other clean rooms so we suffered because we needed to drive in the morning. We all woke up at 7:30 AM went to go take a shower and realized how disgusting the shower was. We packed up and left. I explained it to the manager in the morning. He offered 10% refund. I told him no that’s not good enough. You need to go and look at the rm, he promised he would get back to me later in the day never happened
