The house is in a small, secluded neighborhood with stunning hillside views and single-family homes near Vermont's Mad River Glen.

Access to the entire home and property. Four wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel in winter months in this region of Vermont.

The house was remodeled in 2021 on all 3 levels with the intent to provide a relaxing family and friends gathering space with a hint to the simpler and lighter Scandinavian country style. This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is centrally located just minutes from Mad River Glen, Sugarbush, and the Waitsfield town center. The house offers a bright, airy, open floor plan ideal for single or multi-family getaways. Granite countertops, a gas range stove, and coffee corner in the chef's kitchen await those interested in cooking in during your stay.
This comfortable home is tastefully decorated with plenty of seating and entertainment for the whole family, and offers unparalleled views from the open space on the first floor and decks.
Guests will find comfortable beds and freshly-cleaned linens in each spacious bedroom, most of which include wonderful picture-window-views themselves.
The property also offers a secluded hillside yard with a fire-pit to enjoy wonderful mountain evenings.
The house has 4 bedrooms which have queen beds, and a common room with 2 bunk beds, so it can sleep a total of 10 guests. There are 3.5 bathrooms (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs and .5 on the main floor). The walkout ground floor has a large recreational room with a TV, games, comfy couches, a ping pong table and other games for younger children too. The ground floor area has the bunk room with a full bath, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and a utility room with all the mechanical systems (for access only if a mechanical emergency).
This is a gem of a retreat in the heart of the Green Mountains.

An AWD/4WD vehicle with snow tires is strongly recommended during winter.
There is very little public transportation in the Mad River Valley. All of our guests typically drive at least one or more vehicles.
