Lake View cottage, secluded, quiet, total remodel, 3 king beds
DESCRIPTION: Lakeview Cottage We have been in the nightly rental business for 20 years and we know how to equip our places to make our guests feel at home. We have completely remodeled this home. It is 1400 sq feet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen completely furnished with everything you will need but food, and a dinning table that will comfortably seat six people. Each bedroom has a king bed for your comfort. We have 3 Smart flat screen TVs with wifi, Toys for the kids, games for the adults, and a pac n play for the baby. We have a washer/dryer with detergent furnished and all linens are provided. You can enjoy the view of the lake from inside the house or outside on the deck. We have a huge fire pit that is shared with another cabin that we also own. We have patio table and chairs, Oklahoma Joe's smoker grill, and a firepit.
How do we describe the Lakeview Cottage? Secluded, Peaceful, Serene, Scenic, Quiet, Beautiful, Amazing view, and more. The house is on the side of a mountain, with a large deck overlooking Fort Gibson Lake. When you stay here you will likely see Bald Eagles, White Tail Deer, and a variety of other wildlife. It is about one hundred yards to the lake, but you need good knees and a strong heart to make the hike to the Lake. You can hike to the lake and fish, and you will have a whole mountain you can explore. Wahoo Bay and Sequoya are only two miles away where you can put you boat or jet skis in the water. There is adequate room for 2 vehicles. If you have a boat or jet ski trailer over 14' you may not be able to park it at the house. You will not be able to make the corner with a trailer! There are several marinas in the area where you can rent Pontoons or jet skis. We are located about 15 minutes from Wagoner and 15 minutes from Muskogee where you will find Wal Mart and many national franchise restaurants at either town.
This is the perfect place to spend a few days fishing, boating, exploring, or just enjoying the solitude and peacefulness of this beautiful home. There is a sharp narrow corner that makes it nearly impossible to bring a trailer.
We have another beautiful log cabin right next to this house. You can see it on vrbo with a headline "Beautiful, Majestic Log Cabin Large Game Room and Lake View"

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We chose this home because of the view and the kitchen/dining abilities so we could invite our grown kids and 2 grandbabies for Thanksgiving meal. It was a great time. We kept remarking that it seems we didn't need to bring hardly anything with us because there were so many things already there, such as salt, pepper, cooking tools, plates, laundry detergent, children's games, coffee, etc. It was the best stay we have had so far. Thank you!
This home is comfortable and peaceful. So impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is! Thoughtful to have foil and ziplocks!Host was easy to work with and will use again.
Great place, very peaceful setting. Great views of the lake. Missed the turn on arrival, but we got back on track. Once we got settled in, we had a very relaxing stay!! Will come back.
This quiet cabin was the perfect getaway. We enjoyed birdwatching from the deck. The sunrises were amazing! We would not recommend trying to find this place for the first time after dark but the hosts directions were great and got us right there. We had a great stay!
Really enjoyed the property, kitchen was very well stocked, beds were comfortable and the patio was wonderful. Excellent view of the lake and really made our vacation memorable. Not the biggest fan of having to take the trash a quarter mile to the dumpster but understand the reasoning.
My parents and sister met me at this peaceful cottage on the lake. We would wake up in the morning and head straight to the deck overlooking the lake, to see the sunrise and enjoy our coffee. There is a lot to do in this area. Amish bakery and restaurant, state park trails and nature center, scenic drives, and historical sites such as Fort Gibson. I would love to stay here again.
We traveled with 2 toddlers over 4th of July weekend and our stay was peaceful and fun. We appreciated the many amenities and that the appliances had buttons/knobs that kiddos could not reach. We were also amazed that there was still a view of the lake with the trees fully green. I would love to be back in other seasons to enjoy all of the beauty the surroundings have to offer. This site is perched on the side of a steep hill in the woods, so be prepared for driving slowly and encountering some critters.
The houe is completely updated and nicely decorated. The lake view is nice and the deck is a great place to sit and enjoy the view. Corn hole was a fun activity. The house is secluded and a bit tricky to find but the host sent detailed instructions. The host was responsive and replied to our questions quickly.
Cottage was just as described. It truly had everything you would need except food. We loved the deck, beautiful view of the lake and watching the sun rise with our morning cup of coffee. We used the fire pit one night and thoroughly enjoyed roasting weiners and making s’mores. Rooms were spacious and decorated nicely. A large tree that had rotted on the inside fell one evening and blocked the drive. We called the owner/host and he came right away to make sure everyone was ok. He called a tree service and had the tree and all debris cleared in under 3 hours! Owners seem to be really nice, caring people. We would definitely stay at one of their properties again with no hesitation. Thanks for providing our sibling group of 6 everything we needed for our long weekend stay.

The property was described very well. It was nice secluded lake property but still close enough for local favorites or chain restaurants and shopping. The driveway was a bit tricky at night but only the first night, maybe some lights or reflectors could be put up along the edges of where we the property is located at the beginning of the driveway. Other than that it was perfect.
If you are looking for clean and peaceful, this is the perfect place!
My husband and I stayed here for a quick little getaway, and it was perfect! Super clean home, comfortable beds, cute lake decor, very quiet, and the deck shaded by a beautiful maple tree was the perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the morning or unwind in the evening. The view of the lake is perfect! We will definitely plan to stay here again!
Absolutely perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway weekend! My partner and I very much enjoyed the cleanliness of the property, amazing lake view, stocked kitchen, smart TVs, grill, and board games! The only thing we had a little bit of trouble with was finding the house in the dark, but other than that it was a very pleasant stay! 10/10 recommend.
This property has absolutely everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Kitchen is very well stocked, plenty of seating, and king sized beds in each of the 3 bedrooms. And let's not forget about that view! Incredible! I want to come back when it's warmer out, so I can enjoy the deck more. Overall, our stay was amazing.
Good location - not too close to public parks but close enough. Tucked away and peaceful. Access to the lake (if you’re in shape and adventurous) if you want to fish or just enjoy a nice hike. House was good size with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. my son also enjoyed the tub for toys. There were also some games inside the closet we didn’t get around to playing but will if we come back.
Everything with the property and owner was outstanding. We highly recommend staying here. I didn't get information from the property manager about the key code or other things so was disappointed in that. I was able to get it from the iwner so all was great
Absolutely beautiful view !
Very Nice clean “home away from home”.
Very accommodating and all the amenities of home. Stocked well with the added meticulous details of home; from the kitchen to the bathroom to the toys / if needed. The owners are great people and are right on top of anything you may need.
We used the outside deck area for cooking every night and cooked breakfast with all cooking items (not food) stocked and labeled well !!! Great detail in the labeling !!
We would Most definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home vacation type get away.
Thank you to the hosts !!!
It was a little tricky to find in the dark but they gave some extra directions to help out. Furnished with everything you could possibly need or want. Great views!
