Vroman's Nose Trailhead Tours and Activities

The property was a retro experience, which was okay. A few issues: 1. The electrical outlets didn't work well - we plugged a couple of devices overnight and they weren't charged at all by morning. The multi-plug extender provided connections that were too loose to work. 2. The sink was very small (about 8.5 x 11) with a cabinet overhang. It was difficult to impossible to position your mouth over the sink while brushing your teeth. 3. I wanted to lower the temperature in the shower and mistakenly moved the lever an inch in the wrong direction, which resulted in scalding hot water. Had to be very careful after that. That being said, the location was convenient and we slept well.

Made the mistake of going on 4th of July week. They Had an event charging 100 a person more to eat and see fireworks. otherwise no dinner. Restaurant was closed. But luckily we could see fireworks from our balcony, yet there was a gigantic tree blocking our whole view. We didnt eat, we didnt see fireworks, I went there because It was haunted. I like ghost hunting and it was my reason for choosing it. Somehow I booked through expedia yet they booked someone else the haunted room I choose when booking. It was a bout 10 rooms away, up 2 hallways. Breakfast was a few poppyseed bagels and a plate of berries, and a fly buzzing around it. I've never been so disappointed with circumstances of how this all happened. Im sure in any normal circumstance on a non joliday week, its a great beautiful elegant haunted place...but I clearly chose the wrong week to come. Our room was clean and beautiful, and our bathroom was really nice. But I won't be back, unfortunately.

The cabin and grounds are well-maintained. The pool was crystal clear and the slide was a nice addition. Gorgeous views!
