Fantastically convenient for a late train arrival in the area and for buses to the ski are a the next day. Clean and pleasant accomodation, a good breakfast with a view, and helpful staff. Had some elevator work going on when I was there so was stairs only but not a problem.

The Baxter Hotel was a lovely experience. The room was clean & comfortable … and spacious … with a great balcony which overlooked the town. The bathroom was updated with style. The proximity to the train station was perfect for us … as was the location to shops and cafes.

The hotel is located right across from Visp train station. We chose to stay here as an overnight stop for our journey from Interlaken to Zermatt. The staff were courteous, room was clean & a free breakfast was provided - this sufficed for our overnight stay.
