The hotel is not bad. At all. But they pretended to rent out a kitchen facility, which was not available. They took the photos of the same day and were full of excuses that I should have picket this up. At the last day of their stay they offered a dinner voucher as compensation to try to make good. The cleaning standard for 6 people using one small toilet/kitchen was poor. There was no daily cleaning. And we were advised later that we should request daily for a clean. For the price we paid this was a rather underwhelming experience. Whilst the location is great, I only can raise my disappointment in hotel management. The breakfast was very good by the way.

Really nice small hotel, convenient to historic area (although the entire inner town is historic). A bit warm because no air conditioning, but then it IS summer. Good breakfast with many choices. The staff at breakfast was a bit harried (not enough staff with too much to do), but still friendly. Would gladly stay her again.

I really don’t want to recommend this hotel because then everyone will go and I won’t have it to myself. It is perfect and a little piece of heaven on earth! Now stay away!!!!!

The hotel was beautiful and located near several ruins and a local garden. The check-in process was very quick and the staff were really kind. Breakfast offered a great variety and it was really nice getting to eat outside. The room and bathroom were comfortable for my husband, our 18-month-old son, and me!

Det här hotellet har en fördel: mycket sköna sängar. I övrigt behöver det verkligen fräschas upp och säkerheten ses över - särskilt om man ser till vad rummen kostar. I mitt rum exempelvis fungerade inte alla eluttag vilket på sikt kan vara farligt.

Vårt rum vette mot klienten, bakåt. Träffade någon, som bodde en våning högre och mot sjön med hänförande utsikt. Vi fick färdiga mackor för att hinna med tidiga färjan, utomordentligt. Dock saknades sked för yoghurt. Perfekt läge för den, som tillbringar mycken tid i DBW's trädgård.

Så trevlig personal. Vi fick rummet högst upp, otroligt vacker utsikt, men väldigt jobbigt att bära upp en super tung resväska i den smal trappa. Rummet var fint, men damm flög runt på golvet.. Jättebra frukost om man tål gluten,om man inte tål gluten då var utbudet hårtbröd. Läget är fantastiskt

Serviceminded personal

Läget var fantastiskt och super god hotellfrukost. Personalen var hela tiden trevliga i sitt bemötande och hjälpsamma. Frågade om vi kunde stanna kvar en stund efter utcheckning då en av oss var mycket trött. De kollade direkt upp om det gick att lösa vilket bara det var underbart. Personalen ordnade så vi kunde få några timmars behövlig vila till och det betydde så mycket.

Dålig bemötande vid klagomål

Hotellet ligger väldigt fint till med flott omgivning. Tyvärr blev det inte dom vi förväntat oss. Vi bad vid bokningen om att få ett rum så långt nere som möjligt pga min mans dåliga höfter/rygg. Vi fick högst upp via en smal trappa. Vi bad om ett nytt rum men det ända dom hade ledigt var ett i källaren dock med fönster precis vid marken. Det accepterade vi. När vi vaknade på morgonen var golvet fyllt med vatten som vi trodde var pga av 40 mm regn under natten. Mina sko var genomblöta och vår hunds matta också. Vi sa ifrån och fick då flytta ännu en gång till ett rum med trappor. Detta förstörde verkligen vår vistelse då det inte är kul att packa upp, packa ner och våra vänner fick vänta på oss. Vi fick tyvärr ett väldigt dåligt bemötande av en yngre tjej tror hennes namn var Jonna. Hon sa t o m att det inte var en vattenskada, men att vattnet kom från ett kylskåp. Vilket vi har svårt att tro på då det var mycket vatten och när vi kom ut på morgonen var det väldigt mycket vatten på gatorna. Jag bad om kompensation men det var hon inte beredd att ge, men hänvisade till Hotels.com. Vilket vi inte kunde förstå då problemet lå på hotellet. Jag blev ganska förbannad mest pga de dåliga bemötande. Efter mycket bråk gick hon med på att kolla med Hotels.com. Vi saknade att kunna köpa dryck och var inte nöjda med att receptionen stängde kl 17. Rummen var i olika skick, och stort sett alla hade trappor, vilket inte framgick när vi bokade. Annars ett unikt gammalt charmigt hotell.
