I got a good impression when entering the lobby for its aesthetics, and the check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well balanced and the food was tasty. My complaints would be with the room, which needed a refresh. The carpet in particular seemed old and the overall furnishings were outdated and worn. Also, the room had a strong odor of air freshener, which perhaps was attempting to cover the smell of cigarette smoke. I actually sat in the room with the door open and the bathroom fan on for over half an hour to try to draw fresh air into the room.

Watchman Villas was easily one of the best stays of our trip. We stayed at The Pinyon as a group of two families, and the setup was perfect for us. The villa had two spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms, which made it extremely convenient and comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was also friendly. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, including an oven, fridge, dishwasher, and utensils, which made it easy to manage meals. One of the biggest perks was the free laundry—such a bonus after long days of hiking. The location is excellent, with a shuttle stop, coffee shop and grocery store within walking distance. Views from the villa were spectacular. We were able to leave our car at the villa and reach the Zion Visitor Center via shuttle in under 10 minutes. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and convenient. We would definitely choose to stay here again, especially when traveling with family or a group.

It was a great stay -beautiful. It was a little bit outside of town so prepare for that. Limited food options. Everyone was very nice.

All in all, we had a very pleasant stay. However, the wooden bed frame was protruding, and it caused bruises for everyone. One person was even injured badly enough to require a visit to the hospital due to bleeding and pain. If replacing the frame is not possible, it would be much safer to cover it with cushioning to prevent further injuries.
