Our entire stay was wonderful. The owners are so sweet and kind, the room was adorable, and the view of the hills in the morning is just exquisite. Breakfast was delightful and included delicious coffee, bagels, pastries (croissants and muffins), cereal, oatmeal, bananas, cantaloupe, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and more. I couldn’t say enough good things about Vinehurst - just 3 minutes from the lake AND right across the street from the Curtiss Museum?! Yes, please! :)
Owner was very pleasant, the room was clean, the continental breakfast was a bit on the light side, overall a good stay, no complaints. It is like staying in a motel from back in the 50s.
Somewhat aged motor inn that could use upgrades, but otherwise clean. Friendly owner/staff. Breakfast was a good selection of cold items. Hotel faces highway so there is traffic noise and room heater can be noisy. Room could use more/better lighting. Price is a bit high all things considered but otherwise good.
This is a smaller older motel style hotel, just the kind of place we were looking for for a fall trip in the Fingerlakes. We only booked one night but the little suite we had would have been a great home base for a long weekend or week of exploring the area.
It had a lake cottage feel. Vintage, retro thrift store appointed but all in the best sense.
Everything worked as it should and they made the effort to anticipate just about every need.
We really enjoyed it.
The lady that greeted us and showed us around was very helpful and friendly.
Can’t recommend it enough.
Old. Expensive for what offers. Heating was good. Bathroom floor not too clean. Breakfast was good. Mattress was okay. Bed was slanted. Okay but for a one night stay.
This is a family owned hotel and everyone is treated like family!
Breakfast was excellent everyday and the owners were so helpful with direction or places to visit. If I return to this part of NY , I’ll return to this hotel!
The owners are very nice and attentive. She always offers great local recommendations for vineyards and other attractions. This was our second time there, and we will return.
Great location for visiting Lakes Keuka and Seneca.
The resort is a quaint, roadside hotel that has undergone renovations, restorations. It is not a Marriott! It was built in the 1960’s, and is still structurally the same but with upgrades! It fits the Finger Lakes region. Our room was very clean, the owners are very responsive, breakfast was adequate. It is small town! Conveniently located. I’d stay again in a heartbeat!!
Very nice area, seating outside to enjoy the hillside views.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
From what we understand, this is a family-owned, renovated motor lodge. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant and gave us helpful dinner recommendations. It's quaint, but there are signs of age throughout. Although our room was clean, the carpet could use a good scrubbing. We had to be careful walking near the doorways in our room as the flooring sloped and was cracked in places.
We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suites out in the back. When we went in, it was a cozy suite with a kitchenette and a kitchen table set up with wine glasses. There were plates, bowls, glasses, and cookware in the cupboards that we didn't end up using. The bathroom seemed clean except for the right side of the bottom of the toilet. The toilet had a sanitized band on the lid. The whole suite had a very musty smell the whole time we were there. We ran the air conditioner (even though it was chilly outside) to circulate the air, but this did not help the mustiness. The beds were pretty comfortable and made up well. The Innkeeper was very nice and welcoming. The morning continental breakfast was very sparse. Overall, it was an ok stay.
