beautiful location, great food and breakfast. Friendly staff, and the beach is top notch.

Travelled in June 2024 with family, great entertainment based resort on the seaside of Curinga/Acconia. Well organised, we fully enjoyed the experience and holiday too, beautiful rooms and amenities. Great authentic Italian food and premium drinks served at all the times, definitely recommend the All-inclusive formula. Live music at evenings and night with local band (bravo and applauses to all the guys of the band!) Marvellous “fritto di Caterina” and beach bar walking distance from the resort. Round of applauses for the kids club organisation “Falky” with everyday different activities entertained by the lovely staff, in particular Lilly, Ilenia and Abril who were absolutely fantastic and attentive towards the little ones! Our child loved the atmosphere and the kids club staff. Amazing staff, from reception to chefs and waiters that effortlessly prepared everything to perfection on daily basis, in both of the main restaurant and in the “Pentolo and Grill”… you must try the outstanding “Paccheri with seafood” Well done also to housekeeping team for the cleaning and organisation of the rooms! Definitely RECOMMEND and looking forward to go back!

Room was spotless and staff was fantastic

Our stay at the Piccolo Grand Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the charming old town of Pizzo, this boutique hotel perfectly blends modern comfort with authentic Italian character. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, helpful, and always ready with great local recommendations — whether it was where to find the best tartufo gelato (hint: it’s nearby!) or the most scenic spots to watch the sunset. The room was stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with high-end touches — especially the rain shower and incredibly comfortable bed. We had a beautiful balcony with a small view of the sea. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a daily highlight. Fresh fruit, pastries, eggs and cappuccinos with a view of the Calabrian coast — it’s the kind of morning that makes you want to stay forever. The location is perfect for exploring. Just a few steps from the main piazza, restaurants, cafes, and the historic castle, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. If you’re visiting southern Italy and want a boutique hotel that offers style, service, and soul — Piccolo Grand Hotel is the place. We can’t wait to return!

Leaking ceilings onto hallway carpeting. Booked in March for a Sept stay and was given an unacceptable room overlooking a roof when I inquired, they change us to at least a street view. Very hot rooms, was not able to control air-conditioning to be cooler, it was controlled by the front desk.🙄😵‍💫 I will say Patricia at the front desk was the most helpful of anyone at this hotel
