I don't suggest coming here as a day trip from Bogota. I rented a car and enjoyed the 3.5 - 4 hr drive. Returning on a different route took me five hours. Spent two nights there. Lots to do, see and get a feeling of the place.






Old Town Villa de Leyva is noteworthy for its restaurants, and you can make a stop at top attractions like Casa Museo Luis Alberto Acuna and Plaza Major of Villa de Leyva.

You are in the main courtyard. In the morning, you are provided a complete hot breakfast! It was excellent! We had our breakfast on the Balcony overlooking the town square. The rooms are not very big, but you are in a historical building, and that is to be expected. They have a beautiful sitting ...

The rooms were huge and spotless. The hotel is very charming and the breakfast was plentiful. Great stay!

The place is extremely nice. What you see in the pictures is what you will get! We had a blast with my family. We would 100% recommend it!

Multiple sports and activities to do and visit. I strongly recommend to visit the Clay House (Casa Terracota)... a Gaudí inspired house ... amazing. Multiple restaurants, specially recommend La Guaca and for dessert La Galleta. eco activities
