Getaway from the hustle and bustle and visit this beautiful, newly renovated home nestled in the Western Blue Ridge Mountains. Just 10 minutes from downtown Boone and historic Valle Crucis, North Carolina, this home will not disappoint. Wildlife and serenity abound on the property, along with a hiking trail, natural fire pit, outdoor seating areas, games and more. The home has an open floor plan, with large newly renovated and updated kitchen and dining area, for family gatherings and lovely meals.
Each room provides scenic views with outdoor decks and seating available. Large master bedroom with walk-in closet, luxurious shower and double sinks. Two additional queen beds with private bath and shower. Washer, dryer and gas grill on site. Our home will sleep at least 6 people comfortably. Separate listing for lower level, The Intimate Gap Getaway. Check it out if you need more beds and/or space.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

A delightful home and hosts! We were visiting for the Doc and Rosa Lee Bluegrass Festival so it was a perfect location. It’s not far from some of the other city centers for daytime excursions. The house is well appointed and designed well! We all enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed staying at this property. The owner was great to communicate with. This house is very beautifully decorated and clean. It is also has a well stocked kitchen with extra snacks provided for a personal touch. Everything was perfect!

Weekend in Vilas

This property is beautifully appointed!! Very clean and has lovely property. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to downtown Boone. The decks of the bedrooms are great for morning coffee or just relaxing throughout the day. We loved this place so much we are headed back less than a month later. Great value!!

A fall getaway

The house was all decorated for the fall holidays and very welcoming. It was stocked with many thoughtful items and even yummy baked goods from the local bakery! Beds comfortable and each BR with a bathroom! Cozy living room and a deck that invites you to sit and enjoy.

Thanksgiving away

We stayed here for a family Thanksgiving trip. House is beautiful and everything you need is there. Pictures don't do it justice - so well decorated, comfortable and pretty! Kitchen and living room are spacious, and we had plenty of room to cook and gather. Mitchell (owner) was very responsive to the few questions I had on arrival. Would definitely recommend this cabin...thanks for a wonderful holiday!

What a Gem!!

If you are looking for a place to stay near Boone and have happened upon this gem, look no further! This place is amazing! The host are absolutely spectacular and have thought of every little detail plus more! We had a family weekend here and couldn’t have wanted for anything more! There were other renters staying in the bottom unit and we never saw any sign of them other than their car! Perfect in every way!

Very clean, modern finishes

Stayed for a week, doing work in the area. Very nice , pictures accurately depict property. Mitchell responded quickly when there was a WiFi issues. (Easy fix with a reset) Gas grill works! Each bedroom has its own bathroom and deck!

Just amazing!

This was probably the best rental house we have ever stayed at! We were 2 couples and 2 kids and there was plenty of space and privacy for everybody! The house is clean, beautiful, completely updated and has everything you could possibly need (extra blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, hair driers, etc) and everything you can possibly imagine in the bathrooms and in the kitchen! We felt at home and had a great stay! We will definitely come back! And Mitchell was super quick to reply to all pur questions. Just amazing!

This is our second stay, and it was equally enjoyable to the first. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. It’s a perfect place to sit and relax and watch the leaves fall.

The house is very nicely decorated and well set up, more like a regular house and not so cabin themed like many others we looked at. The hosts communicated well when we asked questions. It was very quiet and only about 15-20 min away from Boone. I would stay here again.

Weekend to remember

Check-in was very easy using the lock box. The kitchen was well equipped will everything we needed. The coffee and tea bar had everything. The ac controls in every room was a plus on our hot weekend. Would stay again.
