The apartment has 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 4 people. It also offers a large living / dining area and separate kitchen. There is also a patio area perfect for taking in the stunning surroundings and enjoying a meal and maybe a drink outside as the sun goes down. At the front of the property you can catch the morning sun whilst having your breakfast. The property is ideal for families, groups and golfers alike. The apartment is set within beautifully landscaped grounds and is in close proximity to one of the four stunning pools. The apartment is equipped with free WiFi and English TV. Just a short 5 minute stroll you can find, the 5\* Vila Sol hotel spa & golf course where you can enjoy a game of golf or, for non golfers, lunch on the terrace over looking the spectacular course. A further 5 minutes on and you will find Oscars bar/grill, who also offer a takeaway service as well as good traditional pub food. During the summer months they have live evening entertainment. Next door to Oscars is the Moon bar and Wild fire, who again offer a lovely meals and often entertainment, they also have a shuttle bus service. There is also a small restaurant called The Wine Bar. This offers lovely food(their Thai curry is great). There is a small convenience store which has a nice cafe attached for breakfast or brunch. The beautiful Vilamoura Marina is only 10 minutes away by car, which is full of restaurants and bars. For those who like walking this is a 50 minute walk. Vilamoura also has a very nice stretch of beach which goes on for miles. The water park and hotel is also a 10 minutes drive away. Likes: well proportioned apartment. Clean and well decorated with several personal touches which made the property attractive. Decent sized kitchen with all of the appropriate appliances and plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery et cetera. Good location and easy access to the Villamoura. Helpful folder with advice on numerous places to go. Trouble-free communication with owner. Close proximity to communal swimming pool. Dislikes: the apartment seems to be in the first, or early phases of the development. All of the blocks in this area look a little frayed at the edges, and in need of refreshment. At the time of our visit, numerous apartments were being repaired/updated and we were unfortunate enough to have the apartment next to ours having a major refurbishment so had three days of constant whining from an elective sander, plus a full day of an overwhelming smell of paint both of which seriously affected our enjoyment of the property. Although the kitchen is well equipped, there is insufficient space to store groceries, even for us as a party of two. We have absolutely no hesitance in providing a glowing 5 star review for our stay in this apartment on Palmyra, in Vila Sol. We've stayed at a number of different properties here as it is a very quiet, low density luxury development which is extremely well maintained with stunning mature gardens and pool area. The apartment is nicely decorated, very clean and well maintained, furnished with high quality furnishings and up to date tech for those who also work on holiday like I did. The patio doors open onto a nicely manicured grassed area which is very private and only a very short walk to the pool area.
