Getting into the property was an effort. The fact you have no front office person to answer questions is a learning curve for those that prefer boutique hotels. The location, the decor was so relaxing and good feeling. The bed was horrible. 2 beds pushed together but not rally made as one except for a sheet so to move to and from centre was impossible. Loved the room, the decor, the common room but the bed was not great.
Quick check-in, friendly reception, spacious room and restaurant grade breakfast. Good value stopover hotel, highly recommended!

The location is excellent. We walked with our two log edges from the train station to the hotel and it took us 25-20 minutes. We also had tickets to an event at the Verona Arena and we walked there as well, which took us about 20 minutes. The breakfast was amazing with many options.the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. All that said, the property is not maintained at all, the bath tub was rusted, stained and permanently discovered. Every time we turned the hot water on, there was a laud noise, something that would wake up everybody at midnight. The hinges of the shower door and the door of the bathroom were not lubricated and were making annoying squishy noises.
This hotel is a real gem! It’s an older hotel but it’s very well maintained, clean, and beautiful. The staff is friendly and welcoming and their breakfast is out of this world! I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again if I’m ever back in Verona.
Buffet was amazing, rooms were surprisingly very nice. Most importantly the AC worked incredibly! Highly recommend, only a 15 minute walk to the city center and 10 minute walk to the train station it had it all!
Nice place, maybe 15-20 min walk from the old town.
Better than I expected it to be as it’s reasonably priced.
My dog liked the treats they offered him.
Breakfast was okay but nothing extravagant.

Buffet breakfast was excellent in quality and quantity. Location is a little bit off the town centre, but taxis were easily available and affordable. The only issue was the bath tub which was pretty high for getting in and out. Showers would have been much more appreciated.
Located 20 minutes away from the Arena. In exchange you receive a comfortable hotel with parking facilities. In our case, in the evenings when we had dinner in town we requested a taxi (it always arrived within 5 minutes). Usually a 10 minute ride. After dinner we walked. In summary, if you have a car this is a perfect hotel.
The rooms were very clean. I ended there would have been a microwave available yo heat our food up. Otherwise, everything was great. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The staff was amazing but the one drawback was the location. It was hard to get to by foot from the train station- almost off the beaten track. It looks like it’s right next door on the map but you have to go all the way around and across a boulevard. A car would’ve made a big difference.
The breakfast was sumptuous. The property was elegant and in a perfect location if arriving by train. Also, a nice 15-20 minute walk to the Roman arena and Castelvecchio and bridge. The value/price was entirely acceptable for the 4 star quality of the hotel and its amenities. I will definitely stay there again when i return to Verona.

Lovely hotel, near to train station. Staff courteous and polite especially Precious in the breakfast room who always asked how we were each morning. The buffet breakfast had all you could want and the food was delicious.

The staff was courteous, and overall I did not have any major issues. The location is great, with an easy 10–15 minute walk into town, and I really liked the hotel’s antique charm. The terrace was also a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. However, for a four star hotel, it is seriously in need of some upgrades, especially the air conditioning. Even at the maximum setting, my room was still very warm during the day, and there was little to no air conditioning in the lobby or restaurant. With the hot weather, those areas were uncomfortable. The hallways also had a very unpleasant odor, and the carpeting may need to be replaced or refreshed. At the restaurant, the waiter was not very attentive. Several guests, including myself, had to walk up to him to pay because he spent a lot of time at the computer. I hope the hotel keeps its beautiful antique character, but better air conditioning and a few updates would make a big difference!
The hotel was nice, staff super lovely, very easy check in as an English speaker, the included breakfast was so delicious. About a 10 minute walk from the train station and about 15 minute walk to town/supermarket
Great location . Service level in the bar was very weak . They need to be better trained in customer service . You had to go to the bar and ring a bell ? They walked right by guest without offering service . The restaurant servers were good.
