Unfortunately, our experience at the rooftop bar was a little disappointing. The lady working there wasn’t very helpful or attentive, which took away from an otherwise pleasant stay."Reviewed November 6, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YTO) - Madrid (MAD)YYZ - MAD • 1 stop MAD - YYZ • 1 stopCA $1,887CA $1,424found 4 hours agoper traveller - Palacio Tirso de Molina - THE ARC COLLECTION

The restaurant is amazing - we ate there 2x in 2 days. Breakfast is the best we had in 2.5 weeks of travel. Worth every penny. The staff is so very nice and helpful. The bed is comfortable. We loved being there and will come back, if we come to Madrid again."Reviewed November 4, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YYZ) - Madrid (MAD)YYZ - MAD • 2 stops MAD - YYZ • 1 stopCA $2,705CA $2,096found 1 day agoper traveller - Nômade Temple Madrid

The staff were very helpful and the bar area was very nice for snacks and drinks. It would have been good to have more comfortable seating for smaller groups of people. Disappointed that the roof area was not in use during our stay at the end of October, even though the rooftop pool was closed for the season."Reviewed November 6, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YTO) - Madrid (MAD)YYZ - MAD • 1 stop MAD - YYZ • 1 stopCA $1,798CA $1,425found 4 hours agoper traveller

"Brilliant place to stop over on a long journey from Spain to Portugal. Lovely restaurant and breakfast, nice pool and staff. The only slight issue was our room stank of smoke, and it felt like someone was smoking in it all night, so horrible. We did mention to reception but unfortunately there were no more family rooms. I slept so badly because of it."
"Room was clean. Shower water goes hot/cold in internals. Hai dryer was too weak and low power - I had to let my hair air dry;"

"The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. (before eating at this bar I had had a continental breakfast before leaving the ship at Bilbao) By 02:00hrs diahorrea makes an appearance. There was no staff at the Hotel that I could call and I was too worried about leaving my room. So no help during the...
